Rosie O'Donnell trained her gaydar on Oprah Winfrey and her BFF Gayle King on "The View," saying that the talk-show queen and her BFF Gayle King are, despite their protestations to the contrary and despite their not being full-blown lovers, "a tiny bit gay." As the denizens of "The View" mused about Oprah and Gayle's cross-country trip, as chronicled on Oprah's season premiere Monday, Rosie turned her attention to the pair. Her assessment? "You might be a little bit gay, you're just not doin' it," she said of O and G, explaining that an absence of sex wouldn't preclude the pair from sharing in a certain sapphic satisfaction.
Whether or not she's pushing Oprah and Gayle towards an admission, Rosie also said that she thinks everyone could be "a tiny bit gay." Needless to say, her cohort and sparring partner Elisabeth Hasselbeck does not.
A call to Oprah's rep at Harpo Productions was not returned. And Rosie, on her blog yesterday, lavished praise on Oprah and the premiere, saying that she was "brilliant," "beautiful," and "something else all [sic] together."
#5 shut up!!!! you wouldn't know anything about being black and reactions from people unless you are black.. your probably racist yourself to even go there.... they are someone, they cant shop with common people, why!!! they are well known and just like them, if im shopping i don't want people running up to me asking me to take pics, autographs etc... i understand that's part of there life, but everyone needs there personal time. if a person that owns the store had common sense, i would let them in any day, you are talking about one of the world richest woman, she will spend much more then you and i.. but unless you have had any encounter with racism, don't comment on it.. Generally non black people have that problem
Oprah Winfrey is one of the greatest women of our time... she is a caring, giving & most intelligent , her sexual persuasion is none of anyone's business least of all Rosie O'Donnell's who has made all the money she could then thru in our faces her personal info which no one cares about... she didn't dare do that when she was starting out...
I did see Oprah looking particularly intent listening to the former Governor talking.. don't think it was about her leanings more like maybe Stedman who has been leaked as being gay which I don't know or care about... people should pay more attention to themselves and stop minding everyone eles's business....
I didn't miss Rosie's big mouth while she was away practicing how to be gay...
WOW talk about prejudice, yeah all of you who talk about Rosie being fat..who cares? It is about as impressive as Oprah being gay...no big deal there either.
Get over it.
And if it is no ones business, then shut up about it.
Also to the woman who said that Oprah would come out if she were gay, that she has all this money, etc...well, she does not ocme out of the closet coz she is afraid of what people will think of her, because she is just like us, afraid little human. In the greater scheme of things we are all tiny.
You know if Oprah is gay what do it matter? I like her for what she brings to the TV. Her personal llife is her own, even if she is in the lime light. Let the lady have a life of her own.
Rosie just mad that Oprah a black women makes more money than she do, and if her and Gayla are good friend that none of her business, so get a life and she was made at Star because she look better in that case rosie and Barbare might be gay.
Hey Rosie,
Are you the 'hit woman' for all successful black females? Do you work for the KKK? Or, is this personal? Oprah to successful? to benevolent? What???? First, you targeted and got rid of Star Jones, and very nastily, I might add. Now, you're badmouthing Oprah and Gayle. I'm not surprised, as you and others like you can't imagine Oprah being intellectual, beautiful, popular and rich, without some stain or glitch as the public has dubbed you and you've come out of the closet and admitted. By doing so, it is your right. Who cares? Not I.
Personally, I hope Oprah continues to snub you and refuse to give your low-class comment a reply or any attention. In fact, I know Oprah will because she has to much class to wallow in the mud with scum.
My advice, take your victory over Star Jones and leave Oprah for the ages. You, in particular after ferociously attacking Star Jones publicly, cannot harm Oprah nor her image. You see Rosie, Whites, Blacks, rich, poor, educated, illiterate, Americans, Foreigners and others around the glove truly LOVE Oprah! What have you done for any of these groups lately?
Concerning #8's comments, I enjoyed it! It's really so bad that people don't want to admit that you are right. Why did this world need both men & women? If you were meant to be "gay" then it should have been all the same sex...right? There is something to having a Bible and being of different sex...duh! Let Rosie rant & rave and just ignore her...she is doing a fine job of making herself look ridiculous.
STOP SHOVING YOUR GAY AGENDA DOWN OUR THROATS.
EVEN THE MOST COMMON AND INNOCENT OF ACTIONS HAVE TO HAVE SOME GAY AGENDA ATTACHED.
KEEP YOUR COMMENTS AND IDIOT THOUGHTS TO YOURSELF.
THE VIEW IS JUST AS GUILTY FOR HIRING YOU. THATS WHY I WILL NEVER WATCH IT. IT HAS STOOPED TO NEW LOWS.
And Rosie is just a teeny bit straight--after all, she LOVES Tom Cruise!
I agree with Jennifer. Rosie was joking. She's a comic for goodness sake!
Rosie, from one Fag to another...KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!! and stop acting like some vendictive Lesbo trying to prove how Butch you are, your not! and you are giving Gays a bad Rep with that fat mouth of yours
I think it's people like Rosie who are allowed on t.v. who start trouble
from nothing and get roumors started. There are still hetros out there with best friends that are really just friends!! Get Rosie off the air...
Perhaps Rosie didn't get enough of talking about people when her show was cancelled. Give it up Rosie, stop being jealous of Oprah and get your life together!
