Nicole Steals Paris' Thunder

It was a near catfight on the red carpet last night as Paris Hilton arrived at a Hollywood party minutes behind arch-enemy Nicole Richie.

Richie, who arrived with Brody Jenner, made her way down the red carpet of the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party as "Simple Life" co-star/ex-best friend Paris Hilton pulled up in her Escalade.

Nicky Hilton spotted Nicole still working the carpet and warned her oblivious sister. The two then fled back to their car and waited for Richie to get inside before starting a flashbulb frenzy of their own.

Adding insult to injury -- the party doubled as a birthday celebration for Nicole Richie, who turns 25 today.

1. Nicole is better than Paris! She's cuter and has more class. Paris has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Nicole can play instruments, so she's actually musically inclined, and is smart.

12. I don't mind nicole as much as i do paris. Paris is a waste of human flesh. Nicole is just slightly higher on the totem pole, but not by much. and i agree, that these two haven't earned their status like many of the other actors and entertainers who went to school, trained, and studied their art, although as i said at least nicole does play the piano and violin which means she's studied something unlike the girl who should have been a stain on her parent's mattress aka paris hilton.

13. BOTH of them are spoiled, talentless, classless, MEDIA WHORES . It doesn't say much for their parents either who obviously taught them that all you need in life is LOTS OF MONEY and a good PR agency to make it.......and forget any civic responsiblity, when's the last time either one of them gave to a good cause? They are greedy, selfish, babies and both of them make me sick.
