Dog to Federales: My Bad!

Duane Dog ChapmanDuane Dog Chapman- bounty hunter, reality star and all 'round bad ass- says he will apologize to Mexico in hopes of avoiding being sent back to face illegal detention charges.

The star of the A&E reality show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," his son Leland and Tim Chapman (say it with us- no relation) were arrested last week on charges stemming from their apprehension of convicted rapist Andrew Luster in Mexico. The Mexican government wants to have the three returned to the country to face charges which could carry a prison term of up to four years.

Brook Hart, Chapman's attorney, has said a resolution might include an apology to Mexico, a fine, forfeiture of the bail he posted in the country and a charitable contribution. While all three are currently out on bond, we can only hope that Mexico will know a good deal when they see it.

So you know Dog, if it were us, you'd have us at hello!

39. Why is this getting turned into a race thing, period? He arrested a WHITE man in Mexico. If he used to be in a racist motorcycle gang, who cares? He's not in one now. He arrests as many white people as he does any other color of people. This whole issue has nothing to do with race, it has to do with him being arrested for catching a rapist in another country. A country that is has corruption coming out it's ears and just wants to be paid off.

42. for those of you who don't understand - let me clear you up:
Tim is his "blood brother" - meaning they joined their blood to unite them; this is a Native American tradition.
Duane "Dog" was an ACCESSORY to murder as he was hanging out with the wrong people and had no idea what was going down as he was outside when they came out running.
Bounty Hunters as well as Police are not allowed to go out of there jurisdiction, this is why Dog only captures fugitives in Hawaii - where he has his licensing.
They did not go back to Mexico as they were told by their Lawyer at the time that it was no big deal and to forget about it (as the authorities did accept payment)

I know this as I personally know the Chapmans and they are good people. They have even helped the fugitives that they have caught.

All in all - I cannot believe that Americans would rather rip eachother apart than stand by eachother. This is obviously what is wrong with this world!

43. Kat I don't give one squirt of piss Who "You Know Personally". He was CONVICTED by A JURY..I promise you he KNEW a lot more than he admitted..he was a GANG MEMBER. At the scene of a MURDER of a BLACK man and his gang was a RACIST gang. "the wrong people" Uh no he was IN THEIR F'ING GANG! Not just an innocent passerby or guy in a car when someone else flipped out.

Second this guy is a TV Show of "bounty hunting" on an ISLAND. Again come on over to Los Angeles we have Fugitives in the THOUSANDS - Catch one I'll forever shut up about Dog. But more than likely this guy and his HIGH PROFILE family wouldn't actually survive more than one week here in LA, literally. Sh*t go to the San Francisco Bay Area they too have thousands of fugitives..he wont why?

Most Bounty Hunters keep their ID protected for a reason, cause they actually work in dangerous places. Not docile Islands with a couple wife beaters, and DUI suspects, druggies. Again I highly doubt ANY of you have ANY idea of Hawaii or the Hawaiian culture, making his job cake as long as he stays on his TINY LITTLE ISLAND!

45. #41 Dog HAS been to California to capture fugitives! It was on an episode of his show. Know what the hell you are talking about BEFORE you start talking ignorant sh*t! Also, #40 bounty hunters do not have jursidiction. He has hunted several times in Colorado as well as California.
