Did Hasselhoff Make Phony Suicide Call?

David Hasselhoff lied to cops when he allegedly called 911 to report that his younger daughter attempted to commit suicide, according to his estranged wife, Pamela Bach. And Bach tells TMZ Hasselhoff made the call out of pure revenge.

TMZ first reported that police and paramedics responded to Hasselhoff''s 911 call Sunday night. Multiple police sources told TMZ the former "Baywatch" star reported that his younger daughter was "cut" and it was a suicide attempt. Now Pamela Bach tells TMZ that her daughter never attempted suicide and that David knew it. Bach claims David used his daughter as a pawn, telling Bach, "You're going down. I'm calling the police."

Hasselhoff Family Cat
Bach says her daughter was scratched by the family cat Sunday night at around 6 p.m. She says her daughter was crying uncontrollably, so she called David and suggested that it might be appropriate for the girl to see a psychologist on Monday. At that point Bach claims David began ranting that he would call the police and bring her down.

Bach says at around 8 p.m. the police and paramedics arrived and said that David had called in a suicide attempt, so by law they had to take the girl to the hospital. She was released shortly after arriving there.

Hasselhoff's publicist Judy Katz tells TMZ that Hasselhoff became alarmed when his older daughter called to say her sister was bleeding. Hasselhoff denies telling 911 about a suicide attempt, but his publicist says the 911 operator may have interpreted it that way. Hasselhoff, who was getting ready to board a plane for a film festival, left town without visiting his daughter.

Bach says Hasselhoff deliberately concocted the story to make her look like a bad parent. Hasselhoff denies he even spoke with Bach Sunday night, and says the allegations are false.

16. "Hasselhoff, who was getting ready to board a plane for a fim festival, left town without visiting his daughter."

That's the worst part. Whatever the cause or severity was, the fact that he called 911 but still boarded his plane without seeing her to make sure she was ok is such bullsh*t.

18. Both David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach NEED TO GET A LIFE!!!! And please stop using the kids as a pawn against each other, for god sake these are children not toys or possesions! They are human beings. Sounds like the kids are more mature than mom and dad! Stop the drama for the kids sake why don't you. Think about them and not yourselves! Very SELFISH people!

19. Wow, regardless of whether or not David Hasselhoff is the person who concocted the "suicide" spin on this story, he will never be able to regain his "good parent" status with the public after deeming an injury so bad as to have to call 911, and then proceeding to LEAVE TOWN? Are you joking? Seriously, somebody needs to tell this man to give up on his public image, it is already shot. While he's at it, tell him to restrict his "Don't Hassel the Hoff" shirts to Germany; the only place I know of where people besides himself have ever actually referred to him as "The Hoff."

Wait and see, Ladies and Gentleman, just another future player on "The Surreal Life".

24. OK, so your daughter is crying uncontrollably because she's been scratched by the family cat. Small wonder, if there is so much turmoil going on around her that that would set her off being so upset. So, instead of thinking, "Hmm, maybe my being a selfish, petty a**hole is taking it's toll on my child's mental health and well being and I should knock it the f*** off", you call 911 in an attempt to be sh*tty to your wife! Niiice. That won't cause too much upset knowing that it will be in the media.

I think that is one of the most f***ed-up, trailer park, low-life, Jerry Sprinin, bunny-boilin, selfish & apalling things I have ever heard. I hope she takes him to court and gets sole custody and if the mother has any part in this, then I hope the daughter gets herself emancipated and finds normal, well adjusted people out there that will act as her family and care for her in the way all children need.

26. IMHO, most celebrities would be better off getting themselves a couple of dogs instead of children.
At least they can sell the dogs to someone who cares, once they realize they can't handle "parenting."

27. If this is all true, I think they are both in question for being good influential parents!!

My question is:
1) Was there actually a 911 phone call made
2) Why would the MRS. call David for something like a cat scratch
3) If a 911 call was made from David, why or how in hell could he set that aside and continue to board a plane

Final and foremost, If this is all true, they both are a poor excuse of being parents.
Children (no matter what age) should be 1st and #1 no matter what!
It's a privilege and honor to be a parent. Your influence along the way will reflect on your children.

Again if this is true: shame n f David for being so self indulged as to put his daughter AT RISK and in the middle of a dispute/argument with his ex-wife!!!
