62. Naomi: I know you probably live in some parallel universe, but there's something you need to know about this one. Go to any message board relating to Brad, Angelina even their CHILDREN on any celebrity gossip site. see how many people go there just to write venomous things about them, going so far as to hurling racial slurs against the adopted ones, and refering to Shilo as a child with satanic sources. One common mantra that is in most of these blogs is the continuous citing of the break up of Jennifer's marriage. They sign themselves team aniston, jennifer, go jen etc. Jennifer will suffer the backlash of this behaviour whether she deserves it or not.

I'm 58 years old, not a silly teenage BAMZS fan. I lived on my own with limited access to a computer like some people my age. I kept up with celebrity news on TV and in tabloids. I was a fan of Brad and Jennifer seperately, then together.
When rumors of the break up started flying off the grocery check out lines, I wasn't surprised or shocked. They are after all, celebrities. I remember thinking "poor Jennifer" everytime I saw Brad and Angelina on a magazine cover.
But that was it. The fuss died down like those hollywood stories always do. I never gave it another thought. Now I live near my daughter and I discovered this forum because she has a computer.

To say I was shocked is an understatement. This interactive instantainious mud slinging is something I never knew existed. I think I was better off.
But i know one thing, I will never go see a movie with Jennifer Aniston in it again.
I believe she could have just as easily reigned in her fans as she got on with her life. She manipulated her friends, magazines, and her fans. I have little use for that kind of nonsense. I've seen much bigger stars divorce in my life with out all this fuss.

My daughter and I disagree about this to the point where we can't discuss it. I never knew it was such a devisive topic. We'd all have better luck posting religious opinions, or political ones. Everyone has pretty much dug their heels in

68. Jennifer Aniston's long-running battle with photog Peter Brandt over the topless photos (which showed her smoking a joint) he took of her has, at last, come to an end. The two parties have settled the matter out of court, which means no fun documents to look over. (And given that we've already seen the photos already, what fun is there to be had, anyhow?) But, as a door prize, we do have the email Brandt's camp been sending around announcing "the ink is now dry."

69. To "reality check":
I appreciate your comment. However, I wil not accept that kind f behaviour towards Brad and Angelina's children either. That is outrageous and needs to stop immedeately. It never should've happened! It's simply awful and I do not want you to think that I'm like they are. Both "teams", obviously have their extremistst if I may call them that, which is not acceptable at all!!!
Jen does NOT appreciate that. She has told her fans to move on and focus on the good things.
Again, I would like to state the fact that I have NOTHING against Brad and Angelina's children. Mad is gorgeous, Zahara is charming and Shiloh is adorable! I wish them the best life. I really do.
When posting that Brangelina fans should post on their sites instead of posting bull here, simply means that they should talk good ab. who they like instead of talking bad at who they don't like. The same with the opposite!

71. Thank you Naomi. I was kind of afraid to write that because I have seen how people attack others on these sites. I was looking in on US Weekly on a story about Brad and Angelina and everyone there gets attacked no matter who's side they are on. See, quitely and sensibly you have informed me of the fact that Jennifer has tried to get through to her fans (something my daughter failed to mention).

I was a little extreme saying I would never see another Jennifer Aniston film. But that's more to do with how my daughter is behaving. She's the same age as Jennifer and went through all the same stages at the same time as her, except the divorce. But you would think that Brad had left HER. I read what I wrote yesterday and I'm kind of laughing. I was getting just as caught up as everyone else.

Thanks again for a calm, intelligent response. But I guess that's not what keeps these sites going.

I try to stay away from sites like these because I get so frustrated!
Especially when I, like in this situation, am personally involved because of the fact that I have contact to Jen almost every weekend! Lots of people won't believe that but hey... I know what's true.
I'm glad that you also have the same impression of these sites as I have. Actually, this is my first time getting into a discussion like this. I did post a comment about Heather Locklear's daughter because she's in my sister's grade at the same school, but that's it!
I simply couldn't read all of this hatred etc. I felt like I needed to take part in this to try to inform people in some way. Not easy!
Brad and Angelina are also having a rough time... Daily, if they're home, there are at least 10 paparazzi cars waiting outside their house on Pacific Coast Highway. Crazy!
In this case, though, I know Jen personally and therefore had to speak up :o)

73. Despite my young age of 21 years old I experience the hatred between every day! Whether it's in the traffic or on a site like this. What is happening?
Team this and that have become "the new deal" in the world of celebrities etc. Reading the poem/song whatever by Anon makes me fear what the next step will be...
Maybe I'm just over reacting, maybe I'm not. I certainly hope I am!
Lets turn a page and look on the bright side of both others lives and most important our own lives!

I think Jennifer was so convinced she had the perfect life and gave so many interviews to that effect when she was married to Brad, she believed the tabloid press -- It was like "friends say he adores her", "they are adorable together", blah, blah. I mean, if you are over 30 and your friends say that it sounds insulting -- like you are 2 puppy dogs. But she liked it and 2004 was her "year." In the meantime, she was losing her husband. He said she always wanted to believe everything was alright.

I don't think she realized what she called "sharing" (info about their marriage) would be considered by Brad to be offensive. He's a very private person. AJ and he don't show or say anything about their relationship, so everyone makes up all kinds of bullsh*t and they just go on with their lives.

ANYONE out of their teens who display themselves publicly like Jen and Vince did is trying to PROVE their relationship is real. Same with her ALWAYS bringing up Brad in nterviews past.

People are more interested in Brad and who he is with than who Jen or Ange or Gwenyth, etc. is with. I think he's probably loving the attentiion and being with a hot chick 11.5 years younger than he is. Now he's got kids, I can't see him leaving Ange anytime soon becuz she will produce more children with him.

He is the producer of The Departed, jetting around and doing the humanitarian thing with his family. They are far more interesting than he and Jen -- who, I think, took him for granted.

So, what is left to say about Jen if you don't mention Brad and Angie? What happened to her is tragic becuz she is a celeb who lost the main reason people were interested in her. She didn't just lose a husband, she lost the Sexiest Man Alive becuz she took him for granted and believed all the press instead of realizing the truth even when he told her he had an attraction to AJ.

Yeah, I think it is more tragic for her than ordinary women and far more embarrassing because of all the things she said -- just go back and read some of her interviews from that time. But she's not a "single mom" whose husband left her for a 21 yr old who struggles everyday trying to raise her 3 kids.

Lastly, all this nastiness both ways is scary. A Jen fan in Germany tried to attack AJ and now Brad and AJ have kids, so I think people should cut it out. How can one be on "Team Aniston" when the other "Team" now has two infants and a 5 yr old to consider.

75. It is sad that there is nothing to talk about Jennifer Anniston without talking about who she is or isn't dating. She has no other interests. It is as if she has an arrested development and is stuck in junior high, reliving the torment of "does he or does he not love me?" Usually by high school, young women begin to develop their own interests in addition to being able to be in relationships-rather than have a relationship being all that matters.
