After her very public firing Star Jones may not have gotten any love from Barbara Walters, but the former "View" co-host seems to have gotten consolation from her four-legged friend.

Last week, the embattled diva appeared to be on cloud canine as she groomed her dog prior to boarding a flight at LAX.

With rumors swirling that her marriage to former bachelor Al Reynolds is on the rocks (which she has denied), Star may need to start getting used to having her affection needs met by man's best friend.

18. The best decision the View did was get rid of this holier than thou "b...h" She was so tiresome with her perfect world ideas, it was sickning. But people we had better watch out what we say about her, She might just sue us!!!! I'm sure she cannot hang with real attorneys, which is why she was on the view blabbing every day. She probably has to hire an attorney to take care of her legal battles. And I think the girl does profess to much about her perfect marriage. Who is she trying to convince? Us or herself!!

19. What is the source of such vicious attacks and unrelenting defamation of Star Jones' character? I don't understand. You people sound as if you personally had some kind of altercation with her. The meaness, the totally dehumanizing nature of these comments brings shame on us as a nation. She is a human being deserving of a modicum of human compassion, regardless of her high public profile. She is not a dog. She is not a cartoon cut-out. She is a living, breathing woman trying to live her life.

People, stop this feeding frenzy. Don't be led into this type of public behavior. You are setting a standard. It may be Star who is the target today, but it could be you in the future. We, as a people, have a legacy of concern and value for human life and an expectation of civility in our public discourse. Please remember, our society is an example to the rest of the world. "Kindness know no shame."

Star Jones ! i have always hated that bitch! every thing about her is fake, was glad she got fired from the view,the only thing real and true in her life is her gay husband we all know she cries her self to sleep every night while her husband is sticking it to the likes of boy George and God knows who,jones is just facinated with the idea of marriage,Star ! face reality even your total make over is not enough to turn your husband straight. What a horrible picture - she actually looks possessed. See what happens when you try to pull a fast one over on Barbara Walters, you wind up in an airport looking lie a mental patient who escaped. I though the dog's name was Pinkie, not Star's.

Maybe she is a switch hitter, so Rosie may stand a chance.

25. #18, the only reason she took the job at the View was for the money. As a prosecuting attorney she probably made very litte. And let's face it, she is going to have to go back to being a lawyer because she will never get another job on TV as long as Barbara Walters is alive.
