Chevy Chase to Play Mel Gibson ... Kinda

Chevy ChaseContinuing their tradition of stories "ripped from the headlines," NBC's "Law & Order" will air an episode in November featuring Chevy Chase as "a television celebrity who is pulled over for drunk driving while wearing blood-soaked clothes, and whose religious prejudice comes out after his arrest."

That doesn't sound familiar at all.

Chase is best known for his work on "Saturday Night Live" and films such as "Foul Play," "Caddy Shack," "National Lampoon's Vacation" and its three sequels, "Fletch" and "The Three Amigos."

Oh, wait a minute -- that's like the Mel Gibson thing! We get it now.

18. I didn't hear anyone complaining when they did a mock show on Michael Jackson, OJ, Kobe Bryant, and Al Sharpton. They do this all the time...I don't get what the disgust and uproar is all about. If you're celebrity and make headlines your fair game for this show, which makes it fun to watch.
