Rosie: Bring Star Back ... Puhleeze!

See what happens on "The View" when Barbara goes away for a few days? As the women of morning television reminisced over schoolyard memories, it was brought to the audience's attention that Rosie O'Donnell herself was a high school homecoming queen. Joy, ever ready with a spicy quip, remarked, "Was it based on being pretty ... errr ... I thought homecoming queens were more like Jessica Simpson." Oh, snap, girl.

Rosie clearly didn't take too kindly to this: She said that she missed Star Jones -- "I'm feeling the love" -- and then did some temporary housecleaning of her own, announcing, "After the break, we're going to come back without Joy Behar." To "The View," we say thank you for consistently delivering us a hot dish of morning bitchiness; no word yet on whether Star will take Rosie up on her offer.

17. The sadest item is that Barbara Walters used to be a good journalist. She has reduced herself to this catty ,mean spirited ,fluff that has no meaning. I can see loud mouth rosie just loving this platform , she shines on useless.

19. Rosie has resurrected The Vie to higher ratings than ever before. She is the only reason I watch it. She brings life and fun to it, and you can tell she is being very careful to reign herself in so as not to take over. She admits to being a control freak, and many other personality flaws. She is taking the place of 2, and no more are needed. She is making the show probably 75% more than before, and another host is not needed, so whatever they are paying her is well worth it. I always liked Joy the best, and at times she can't hide feeling a little jealous of Rosie, but Rosie always raved about her on her own show, and when they banter it is hilarious. You all need to get a sense of humor and lighten up! Rosie is so quick on her feet comedically, and she holds back a lot, conforming to a conservative daytime show ( unfortunately for us, who are not frustrated hall monitors looking to complain all the time about what's appropriate or not.) Barbara is hysterical lately, it's like she's on Extasy! So funny, she made the choice in Rosie, and she made a good one. All you mean-spirited name callers are ignorant low lifes, needing to pick on others to hide your own numerous flaws. Yoiu can critisize something you don't like without using foul language or childish names.

21. I REFUSE to watch the "view" not. Not because Star and Meredith left but because Rosie is there. What is the matter with Barbara? I don't think the ratings are up at all. Unless it's the lesbians who are watching it now. Did they need the lesbian ratings to make the show a hit?

22. Star was a valuable member of The View, before she met Al. She has a great legal mind and insight. But, she seemed to lose that . She became a giddy Bridezilla. More into name dropping than substance. Starrs downfall came a bit before Rosie.
Her inability to admit to surgical intervention for weight loss. Was a smack to viewers. We were her public and fans. Don't lie to us.

23. This was all done in fun. Can you imagine if EVERYTHING you said got twisted around and then splashed all over the tabloids and the internet? It must suck!

24. So to all of you that "don't" watch the View what makes you think you can comment on her doing the View?? If you don't watch then how would you know what she's like as the show's host?

I watch it and she's livens up the format. And the entire conversation they have "Clipped and edited" for this article, was all in fun they all laughed AND Joy returned after the break. They posted this cuz “Everybody Loves to Hate Rosie!”, now go ahead sheeple, shows us your ignorance! Cut down a show you don’t even watch.

28. The View took a dive when they invited Rosie O to the show. I have nothing against her being gay, but she has no class! She is loud and obnoxious and just takes away from any class the show once had. The View probably won't last much longer in my opinion. Meredith made a good decision to leave when she did. Surely, Barb can round up some more interesting ladies. We can watch comedy central for constant cracks that are not always funny.
