Rosie: Bring Star Back ... Puhleeze!

See what happens on "The View" when Barbara goes away for a few days? As the women of morning television reminisced over schoolyard memories, it was brought to the audience's attention that Rosie O'Donnell herself was a high school homecoming queen. Joy, ever ready with a spicy quip, remarked, "Was it based on being pretty ... errr ... I thought homecoming queens were more like Jessica Simpson." Oh, snap, girl.

Rosie clearly didn't take too kindly to this: She said that she missed Star Jones -- "I'm feeling the love" -- and then did some temporary housecleaning of her own, announcing, "After the break, we're going to come back without Joy Behar." To "The View," we say thank you for consistently delivering us a hot dish of morning bitchiness; no word yet on whether Star will take Rosie up on her offer.

76. I thought the segment was great! Rosie's always on her toes and one of the best things that ever happened to the view. NEVER could stand Star!!!! I bet they win a emmy now that Rosie's on the show--Barbara is no dummy!

77. I told you months ago Babs was in the first stages of dementia and Rosie behaves just as obnoxiously as I knew she would. Sorry I missed Joy's barb, good for her. What really upsets me is that Elisabeth is cowtowing to Rosie! I really thought she had more gumption than that. As I have said time and again, Bye-bye, The View! It's just a matter of time!

78. Oh the "View" the "View" I'm just sick of hearing all of the hullulabalu. The View sucks now, it sucked before Rosie, and I'm pretty sure it will always suck. You cannot even hear one word for all of the yacking. Empty yacking I might add. Yes Star needed to go, but Rosie will ruin what might be left of the View. And Baba Wawa, she is just fluff. She has lost any journalistic statis that she might have had in the past. Good bye to the "View"

79. rosie was not a fat kid. she gained her weight as an adult. she was not an ugly or gorgeous home coming queen, just an average looking kid.

81. Where can I get a mirror like the one Rollie-Rosie looks in? If I could see myself the way she sees herself I would become a giggilo. Somebody needs to tell Rosie the only thing attractive about her is her absence.Unfortunately there isnn't enough of it.

82. I don't watch "The View" but if Joy said that, I don't think it's funny or appropriate. Joy is the reason why young girls develop low self esteem. Homecoming Queens aren't all judged on "beauty" at all High Schools. Many, like mine did, judged on grades and community and the alumni's were always proud of their Queen. Joy is as obnoxious as Rosie and I don't tune into network television for stuff like that. I can look at MTV or VH-1 for women being shown in horrible views.

83. I don't understand the hate towards Star Jones did she do something to any one personally? It is all about the ratings so the more drama the more people are watching I wonder what is truly says about the viewers. Maybe you all want to see someone more miserable than yourselves. Instead of focusing on the negative think positive and see the good of the show and the information it can bring. They are only giving what the audience feeds on. Remember to put God first and none of this stuff matters remember they are real people who may cry in the dark with all the bad feedback

86. Rosie O'Donnell is the only celebrity I have ever seen on any of the entertainment programs that NEVER shares a frame with one of their interviewers. And no cutting back to the interviewer either. She demands every second of attention. And for heavens sake! She had 4 years off television. Why oh why didn't she learn diction? Her tongue is so fat it is difficult to understand what she is trying to say.

89. I agree that the show has turned into a giveaway program. Everyone seems to be uncomfortable with Rosie. I know I am. What was Barbara thinking???? Maybe we will get lucky and they will give away Rosie on one of the shows.

90. I think that ever since Rosie has come on the View, she seems to monoplolize the show with her comments, sometime cutting the others off. I used to like her show with her as the host, but I don't think she is a good team player. Meridith was such a lady.I'm not wild about Elizabeth either, but she does add a different viewpoint from the others.
I don't think they could ever go back to Star Jones. She'd be a fool if she returned.There's been too much discension between her and the rest of the group.
