Rosie: Bring Star Back ... Puhleeze!

See what happens on "The View" when Barbara goes away for a few days? As the women of morning television reminisced over schoolyard memories, it was brought to the audience's attention that Rosie O'Donnell herself was a high school homecoming queen. Joy, ever ready with a spicy quip, remarked, "Was it based on being pretty ... errr ... I thought homecoming queens were more like Jessica Simpson." Oh, snap, girl.

Rosie clearly didn't take too kindly to this: She said that she missed Star Jones -- "I'm feeling the love" -- and then did some temporary housecleaning of her own, announcing, "After the break, we're going to come back without Joy Behar." To "The View," we say thank you for consistently delivering us a hot dish of morning bitchiness; no word yet on whether Star will take Rosie up on her offer.

91. Once upon a very long time ago, "The View" was wonderful.
Everyone took their turn to speak and after it was all over
with, it all made sense. It was a pleasant experience. Now... all you hear is yap,yap,yap.When everyone tries to speak all at once, ladies this will
not work.Sounds like a bunch of chickens.All you want to do is, put a
cork up their ... You are destroying what used to be a "Great
Program".

92. I think everyone is being really REALLY critical of everything that Rosie says. If she were to say she like Mcdonalds over Burger King it would be front page news, and everyone would start start calling her fat loud and opinionated. Everyone needs to get a life. And for everyone calling her fat, Rosie is probably in the lowest precentile of America's overweight. And to say she is taking over the view, maybe she ought to. No one wants to her that dinosaur Barb talk about her stupid ass dog or Elizabeth talk about her damn baby anymore. I wouldnt mind watching "Rosie's View."

The ONLY reason I watch the view now is because of ROSIE...hated it before...Rosie makes the show and I think all the ladies are great together...The first few days were rough cause everyone needed to find their place...after all they are new to each other...but after the first week...it was funny and entertaining and I DVR it every day. I love the shows first 10 mins...the "hot topics"...that's the BEST part of the show...I'm soooo glad ROSIE is back on daytime TV...she ROCKS!!

94. I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF BARBARA WALTERS AS A RESPECTIBLE JOURNALIST, BUT CLEARLY SHE MADE A BAD DECISION BY PUTTING ROSIE O'DONNEL ON THE VIEW. I THINK BARBARA JUST GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE NAME "ROSIE O'DONNEL" FROM WHEN SHE HAD HER OWN TALK SHOW AND DIDN'T CONSIDER OR DIDN'T KNOW THE REAL "ROSIE O'DONNEL" AFTER HER SHOW. PEOPLE SAID THE STAR WAS BITCHY, ARROGANT, OPINIONATED, ETC, AND THAT'S JUST SOME OF THE SAME CHARACTERISTICS THAT ROSIE HAS. THAT'S LIKE REPLACING A STICK OF DYNAMITE WITH AN ATOMIC BOMB!

96. For crying out loud---enough already! If you don't like Rosie, don't watch The View!! I happen to think Rosie is the BEST thing to happen to the show since it started!! And since Day One I have noticed that Rosie and Elizabeth have gotten along great, it was JOY who seems to have a problem, then again, Joy has a problem with ANYONE so who cares! Why doesn't Joy take a vacation--a ten year vacation. Leave Rosie alone--finally someone with a personality!

99. There was no hostility or snideness in their words. Is the media even capable of hearind people joke or do they just wish so much that there would be a cat fight? Stop trying to make a trash heap out of a comical moment. I'm sure the ladies on The View think you're all pathetic to scan every single word they say looking for microscopic issues. Get a hobby, people!

103. I am Thrilled that Rosie is on The View. I look SO..forward to watching the Show everyday. Star Jones was fine..but, her EXIT was NOT. Rosie is who she is and
makes no excuse about it. That is the way it is. AS it is with all the Ladies on the View. Barbara Walters did GREAT hiring Rosie...she brings so much fun and flair to the View...

104. Rosie is funny! I like her - always have. She went through a bad period where she was angry and bitter, but who hasn't felt that way from time to time. And unlike us, her life has been conducted under the never-ceasing eyes of the paparazzi... I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to live that way! I'm glad Star is gone... I couldn't stand her. Nothing about her was something I could identify with... she was always bragging about her law degree, her rich and famous friends, talked about how shoes (yes shoes) were IMPORTANT, and made me sick asking for donations for her million dollar wedding... She HAD TO GO and I'm glad she's gone. I don't think they should replace her... having guest hosts is fun. The next one to go should be Elisabeth... she's so proud of herself and she is really the one who is a whack job. Remember her comments about gay marriage... she said, "what next, will we allow people to marry their dogs?"... seriously, that was just too weird... and what about her meltdown over the morning after pill... she should be on the 700 Club or Fox News, but I don't want to see her little Liza Minelli face every morning. That's all folks!
