Celebrity Feuds
Rosie the Riveting's Raucous Week

Even by Rosie O'Donnell's outspoken standards, this week's been a particularly loud one. With just a few wags of her tongue (and a couple thrusts of her hips), the talk-show empress once dubbed the "Queen of Nice" has turned into a one-woman provocation machine.

First, on "The View," she irked the gun control lobby -- and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck -- when she suggested that the tragic murder of five young girls in Pennsylvania Amish country on Monday wouldn't have happened if better controls were put on the sale and possession of firearms. Then, on Wednesday, she incensed Catholics everywhere -- including the president of the Catholic League, who publicly denounced her comment -- when she put the blame for the Church's pedophilia scandal squarely on the shoulders of the current Pope Benedict XVI and referenced the controversial new flick "Deliver Us From Evil." And finally, yesterday, Rosie got into it with what she termed the "crazy" pro-breast-feeding legions, saying that they would be bombarding her with enraged complaints for her more pragmatic stance on the issue.

To top it all off, as if to prove dramatically that she just can't stop talking, she gabbed all the way through a steamy sex scene in a guest appearance on FX's "Nip/Tuck," hitting on such varied topics as Britney, K-Fed, and mac 'n' cheese along the way. Whatever she's saying, however, we're listening.

31. Yap, yap, yap this huge broad just won't shut her pie hole. Maybe if one of the camera guys tossed cookies into her mouth while she's yakking she will shut up long enough to chew them up and swallow them!

34. Rosie is a know nothing slob. I used to think she was funny and refreshing. Then she became this ugly, angry ball of crap. She has ripped apart people on her talk show and now on the View. Barbara Walters made a huge mistake.... I have stopped watching. Rosie go back to your wife-husband and kids. They may love you, but your opinion means nothing to most. You need to check into ANY religion. Your HATe is not what we need at this point in history.

35. You go Rosie! I love the show now that she is on it! She does hold people accountable and gives another persepective, love it! I am waiting for Elisabeth to blow up though and the funny comedian comments going on between Rosie and Joy is too funny! Great job ABC!

37. Rosie is the reason I now tune into THE VIEW. Never watched it before, she is smart, funny and very informed. People need to get a grip, it's the diversity in life that makes it rich. I am a 63 yr. old straight, grandma and I say, "Go Rosie"!

38. I could really care less about Rosie O'Donnell, but she is making sense when she talks about gun control and the catholic cover-up....are you people so blind that you dont even see that?? Or do you not give a crap about the real world around you??!?!?
Regardless, at least she is unafraid to speak her mind.

39. Please Rosie -- settle down. This stuff your pulling is not entertainment. I cant believe Barbara is putting up with this stuff. Its ok to voice your opinion but please chill out a bit and realize your opinion isnt the only one especially when you havent done your homework on the topic you choose to rip into

40. Rosie's remarks offends me. "The View" will not be watched in my house any longer. What's wrong with Barbara Walters for letting Rosie continue with these stupendous remarks.

41. I used to love The View -- except all of the women talk at once so you really can't hear what they are talking about. The title of the show, "The View," says it all, views of the panel and all of them are different. I really couldn't stand Star because she thought she was a Goddess and the outfits she wore were definitely too dressy for that show, so I am glad she is off of The View. I like Joy -- she is funny and doesn't seem to think she has to be top dog. Rosie has really taken over and it might as well be Rosie's View. She really gets on my nerves of all of the things she always talks about -- Tom Cruise (Ugh!) -- always about gay people (I am not against gay people and I love Ellen), but Rosie crams it down our throat. I can either take Elizabeth or not. I do wish that when Elizabeth speaks that she would stop looking down all the time -- this irks me, but I'm not the one making all of the money. They are all laughing at us while going to the bank. The View will definitely go down hill. I liked Meredith on The View -- don't really like her on the Today show, but I am glad that Katie Couric is gone. Eventually, Barbara Walters and Rosie will clash! I really can't see Barbara taking very much more of Rosie.

43. The whole "Rosie vs Barbara" hoopla' is just a publicity ploy....it's all about ratings.
O'Donnel has shoved NOTHING down your throat, buddy. Just try being gay and watching that show and you would find very little that appealed to you based on that one simple observation.

44. Thanks, Harvey. Keep telling it like it is regarding Rosie O'Donnell. She has a negative vibe wrapped in her 'big old heart' routine whereas Oprah really does seem to have an inner glow & positiveness about her. I'm not a big Oprah fan, but I can plainly see the difference in the two. I'd take Oprah's opinion anyday over O'Donnell.

45. I believe I have missed something somewhere staying away from regular TV..that sex scene Rosie talked through..was that REALLY on TV on Nip/Tuck?? I wouldn't wash such a crazy show anyway, but really, was that scene REALLY on Tv?? That's horrible!! Sheesh, Ricky and Lucy had to have twin beds and you couldn't even SAY the word pregnant on Tv!!! Sure has come a LONG way in the last 40 years and NOT for the better. Rosie - she cracks me up.. I never knew that the new Pope did all the inestigating on the child molestations. Learn something new every day whether you want to or not. I have yet to see the View other than clips here and there.. guess it's time to give it a whirl. As far as the immoral trash, they can take Nip and Tuck it! I am no prude but enough is enough!! It can only keep going down hill from here.. TV is always lately "let's push it and see what we can get away with next." VERY sad commentary for today's society when people WANT to watch a show so downright filthy, much less with the plastic surgery cutting up people over vanity. I'll stick with Lifetime..for now.. though their current Sunday night line up is falling right smack into the pits of hell with National TV and most of their movies are all kill, kill, kill. "TV for women"?? Not many of us are big on murder, blood and gore every single Sunday especially - the LORD'S day no less. Time to throw out the TV set soon before it gets any worse.
