Celebrity Feuds
Rosie the Riveting's Raucous Week

Even by Rosie O'Donnell's outspoken standards, this week's been a particularly loud one. With just a few wags of her tongue (and a couple thrusts of her hips), the talk-show empress once dubbed the "Queen of Nice" has turned into a one-woman provocation machine.

First, on "The View," she irked the gun control lobby -- and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck -- when she suggested that the tragic murder of five young girls in Pennsylvania Amish country on Monday wouldn't have happened if better controls were put on the sale and possession of firearms. Then, on Wednesday, she incensed Catholics everywhere -- including the president of the Catholic League, who publicly denounced her comment -- when she put the blame for the Church's pedophilia scandal squarely on the shoulders of the current Pope Benedict XVI and referenced the controversial new flick "Deliver Us From Evil." And finally, yesterday, Rosie got into it with what she termed the "crazy" pro-breast-feeding legions, saying that they would be bombarding her with enraged complaints for her more pragmatic stance on the issue.

To top it all off, as if to prove dramatically that she just can't stop talking, she gabbed all the way through a steamy sex scene in a guest appearance on FX's "Nip/Tuck," hitting on such varied topics as Britney, K-Fed, and mac 'n' cheese along the way. Whatever she's saying, however, we're listening.

46. Thank God Sylvia Pinal's tv drama "Woman Real Cases the Mini series" is on at the same time as The View. I would much rather listen to Alejandra Guzman sing the theme song of her mother's tv show than put up with that reject from the WWE divas contest.

48. I agree Rosie needs to keep her mouth shut once in a while. But Elisabeth needs to get the F*%#@ out of the View!!!!! She is just ridiculous!!

49. THE VIEW HAS CHANGED SO MUCH FROM HOW IT WAS IN THE VERY BEGINNING. THERE IS LITTLE CLASS LEFT WITH ROSIE ALWAYS GETTING IN EVERYONES FACE; SHE OVER TALKS EVEN THE GUESTS. THERE IS ONLY ONE OPINION....HERS.
AS FOR BEING GAY-----SO WHAT---SHE HAS NO CHOICE OTHER THAN TO LIVE WITHOUT SEX ALL OF HER MISERABLE LIFE. WHAT MAN WOULD WANT TO TOUCH HER ? SHE'S NASTY......
AS FOR THE DRAMA, I'LL WATCH SPRINGER IF I WANT TO HEAR THE BICKERING. THAT'S WHERE SHE BELONGS.
AND WHAT IS HER PROBLEM WITH BREAST FEEDING ? BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T IT'S BAD ? AND WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD AQLLOW THAT WOMAN TO ADOPT ? NOPE....NO MORE VIEW FOR ME (or anyone i iknow).

50.
OH OH OH !!!! I HAVE A GREAT IDEA......BARBARA, SINCE THE SHOW (ROSIE) IS ONLY GETTING POSITIVE REVIEWS FROM LESBIANS, WHY NOT FIRE ALL OF THE STRAIGHT LADIES AND HIRE BIG MOUTH ROSANNE, AND KATHY G, AND A FEW MORE LOUD, OPIONIATED LESBOS. CALL IT " DIKES VIEW". OR "SCREAMING WITH THE DIKES". OR "DARE TO FIGHT LIKE A DIKE". YOU WOULD KILL JERRY SPRINGER IN THE RATINGS.
WHAT DOES THIS WO--MAN HAVE ON YOU TO KEEP HER ON THIS SHOW AND DRAG IT THROUGH THE MUD LIKE THIS??????

51. I like Rosie on The View. Who really cares that she's gay? Doesn't bother me a bit because I am actually open-minded and straight(married for over 22 yrs). The one who needs to keep their stupid yap shut is Hasselback - she makes me sick. Always flapping her gums about her right-wing causes and preaching. She is entitled to her opinion just like Rosie. Elizabeth - get over yourself already. You are the one I can't stand on The View.

52. Barbara Walters is loving this. It will only increase the ratings on her show.

53. Question? Was Rosie hired, simply to "stir up" controversy?Do we not, already have enough problems.Star and Merideth gave "The View",credibility. Now the show, seems to be nothing more than, another lame "shock value" reality program!

54. Why can't two women be the best of friends since grade school and not be gay??????? She went too far on that one. I have a dear friend that I love as much as my sister but it isn't sexual at all. We are both happily married with children but not attracted to one another. Once upon a time, women could be good friends without peope thinking "they're gay". Rosie, can you think of or speak of anything without sexual overtones? Tone it down Rosie or you may be the next "Star".

55. I think Rosie is a miserable person that is unfortunately, getting paid for it. She appears to have something against black women who have lost weight. Her bashing of Oprah and Star were unnecessary and prove she's jealous of them. The View has taken a serious decline of taste since she's been on there. I just can't stand her. She so badly wants everyone else to be gay so she doesn't feel even more miserable about her lifestyle choices and it's a crime she's being allowed to raise children. Rosie's made some comments about the church that are in very poor taste. God will have the last say ultimately.

58. Barbara Walters, this is mostly for you.
I thought you were much more a lady than what you have just recently shown by having such a "person" as Rosie O'Donnell representing your show. I don't watch anymore for its such a waste of my time.

If you have any authority on your show, please do something NOW! Get rid of the one bringing your show down!!! Your show is watched mostly by women and I think most all feel the same way

59. While I like the dialogue much more now that Rosie is on the View, I have a tough time with the comments she makes that brings visuals to us about her personal gay life. Telling us she got out of bed in the middle of the night and put on underwear to go check on one of her kids is ewwwwwwww. Then to go on about how she asked Kelly if she bought her new underwear while Kelly was cooking breakfast and Kelly finally saying it was her maternity underwear...ewwwww. I really don't want the visuals of their sex life or personal life. I do enjoy Rosie's outspoken opinions and love how she calls Elizabeth out on her conservative, republican opinions. Elizabeth drives me nuts!!!!! She talks so fast and is so conceited. I enjoy Rosie much more then Merideth who acted like Miss Sunshine every day. Rosie is carrying the View and the ratings will only go up since she is there because like her or not people are tuning in every day just to see the cat fights and what strong opinionated remark they are going to hear next. I have not watched the view because I got tired of Merdith reminding us every day she does not wear underwear. lol What is up with these women feeling the need to share this info with America? We really don't care. Now, I tivo the View and have not missed one show since Rosie is on because I love the controversry. You go Girl!

60. Rosie is a idiot that will never shut up. I have always been told that it is better to keep your mouth shut and appear to be a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.... I used to watch the View but now that Rosie is on it, I wouldn't go off and leave that show on to babysitt my dog !!!! I strongly beleive in gun control but I also own a gun. I took all courses required for the permit to purchase the gun. I took gun saftey courses and Rosie wants to take our right to keep and bare arms away from us.Someone needs to take her spoon and fork away from her !!!
