Celebrity Feuds
Rosie the Riveting's Raucous Week

Even by Rosie O'Donnell's outspoken standards, this week's been a particularly loud one. With just a few wags of her tongue (and a couple thrusts of her hips), the talk-show empress once dubbed the "Queen of Nice" has turned into a one-woman provocation machine.

First, on "The View," she irked the gun control lobby -- and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck -- when she suggested that the tragic murder of five young girls in Pennsylvania Amish country on Monday wouldn't have happened if better controls were put on the sale and possession of firearms. Then, on Wednesday, she incensed Catholics everywhere -- including the president of the Catholic League, who publicly denounced her comment -- when she put the blame for the Church's pedophilia scandal squarely on the shoulders of the current Pope Benedict XVI and referenced the controversial new flick "Deliver Us From Evil." And finally, yesterday, Rosie got into it with what she termed the "crazy" pro-breast-feeding legions, saying that they would be bombarding her with enraged complaints for her more pragmatic stance on the issue.

To top it all off, as if to prove dramatically that she just can't stop talking, she gabbed all the way through a steamy sex scene in a guest appearance on FX's "Nip/Tuck," hitting on such varied topics as Britney, K-Fed, and mac 'n' cheese along the way. Whatever she's saying, however, we're listening.

91. Rosie is starting to make me sick. I will not wactch the View anymore I tried to like her but just can't. She a loud mouth has for Elizabeth she just needs to grow up and get in the real world. I had alot of respect for Babara Walters but please Babara retire. Enough already.

92. I can't take too much of Rosie, but I do think she is smarter than the average television personality. I think the people who hate her is because much of what she says goes right over their heads and they don't understand. So many people are brainwashed by television and don't think for themselves. Rosie is a rebel and knows her stuff. I respect her though I don't always like her opinions. She is honest and real.

93. Rosie has every right to her opinion as every other American no matter how stupid. We also have every right not to listen to her.

94. On one of the older "Rosie/The View"s on TMZ someone said that Rosie is very rich, and Barbara Walters is getting older. Walters is possibly hoping that Rosie will like The View so much that she will want to buy out Walters' share of the program. I have to agree with that other poster. If Walters really did not like it she would have had a little talk with O'Donnell by now.

95. Thank you! Rosie because of you I now watch the View. I had not watched it in too many years (ever since they began to blather on about Clinton's blow job). I'm so glad that my friend Harvey told me to turn the channel from Martha Stewart to listen to you on the View. I say right on to you.

96. Who cares if she's gay, straight, bi, or A - sexual. She has a big loud mouth and if she had thought for even a second about how ridiculous it is to say, "if we had stricter gun laws that shooting wouldn't have happened.", she might not have said it. But, cleary, she is just ignorant and like most liberals, just likes to rant and rave.

97. Rosie is not Meredith, and that is just fine. While I loved Meredith, and miss seeing her on the show, Rosie brings a whole new ambience. She is a breath of fresh air. I do not miss Star at all, and am glad she is gone. Rosie shakes things up, she brings a different perspective which causes the other women to have to evaluate their own opinions on various issues and to discuss them based on their own convictions. Yes it has changed somewhat the atmosphere on the show, but in a good way. It blasts the show out of the comfortable rut that it was in. Rosie is gay, which is fine, and she is also a mother, dealing with all the problems we have all had to deal with as working mothers. The dynamics that Rosie brings to the show, and the interaction with the other ladies, is fresh. The humor that Joy and Rosie bring to the show make it a living breathing thing. I loved the show before and I love it now. It is just a change from what it was before, and we all need to change periodically, or we stagnate, and that is true of a show like this also. So Rosie keep talking, and ladies keep thinking and expressing your opinions, and giving us all something to think and argue about.

98. Postings #67 and #68 are supposedly by individuals who claim to be 'Christian'.?
Curious...do you remember anything in the Bible about-
"Judge not thy neighbor but judge theyself"? Look in the mirror and your soul and acknowledge the hatred and judgement that lives there. Neither of you are true christians....your behavior is not Christ like. You distort the life and meaning of Christ in a dangerous and dishonest way. You are blinded by your hatred of others who do not agree with you or you view as different from yourselves.
Tell me Christian individuals where is the LOVE ?
Sincerely

99. Rosie's prior show was not canceled as someone who hates her tried to lie about. She quit at the peak to spend more time with her children. As others have pointed out, but the Rosie haters keep ignoring. The View's ratings are higher than ever and we all know that's bottom line when it come to Network TV. She'll be around as long as she wants to continue. You guys should let go of all the hate you harbor. It's not healthy.

100. I absolutely love Joy Behar, If you watch Joy, you can tell deep down inside, she wants to say something but is very much lady like and keeps it to herself. I just wish she would open up and blurt out what's really ON HER MIND!

103. Rosie doesn't think before she opens her mouth. She is very insulting and opinionated to the point that she doesn't give the other person a chance to speak. I quit watching The View, she is not an enjoyment to listen to and you just don't know what she is going to say.

104.
For Rosie O'Donnell being only a high school graduate she certainly thinks that she knows everything . . . and is alway right about it. I used to like her. I don't care about her sexual preference. I don't care about her "dark" childhood. I had a dark childhood to but I still turned out to be a good person and a nice person. Her know-it-all self-rightous attitude has turned me negative towards her. I earned a Master's Degree in Education and don't profess to know as much as this big mouthed insecure high school grad.
