Lindsay and Rumer: BFF?

16. #7...Rumer has a great family base even though they are no longer married. It would be great if others could follow in their steps as having to put their children first and not their problems from their past. It has been a long time in coming but it definitely has made a family unit and yes, with Ashton the new member. You cannot compare Lindsay's parents to Rumer's...total bull.

Rumer is 18 which makes her old enough for alot of stuff. Sad to see people still picking up smoking because it stinks, tastes bad and is unhealthy. It is her choice. Her parents were smokers so that also seems to add to it the chance of her trying it.

Lindsay is a wild child but maybe she will tone down some being that her press has not been good at all for her lately. Maybe she is using Rumer to get more attention since she does have famous parents and step dad. Who knows?

I think it is somewhat hypocritical to smoke and use herbal stuff but...to each his own.

19. No one should be surprised that Demi Moore's kid is out driving aorund town smoking butts with Lindsay L. Both of their Mom's are 'checked out' Moms. They let their kids do what they want. (And with Lohan's driving record should she be drinking anything and driving?) Guess they really are DYING for attention driving around with the top down.
Dina is so consumed with making herself famous and getting a magazine cover or trying to develop some tv thing for herself...sad. Plastic surgery queen Demi/Mom is too busy acting like a fool with Ashton K. traveling all over the world.
This is the most important time to be near/at home /closely in touch with a teenager. Too many bad things can happen and too many temptations too.
I am surprised that Bruce would let this happen. Didn't Bruce and Lindsay 'run into' each other a few years ago late late late at night in some bar? YUCK YUCK YUCK. Are there no smoking age rules in LA? In new york they are considering raising the 'smoking age' to 21......I wonder if the law is ever enforced at any age?

20. I am thinking what can you expect from someone who has a plastic mom like Demi? It really irks me when every magazine calls her "young looking." Has anyone looked at her pictures before she completely redid herself? It is amazing what $100,000 will buy these days. And poor Rumer. Her face is not too pretty. Maybe, on second thought, she should follow momma's lead and get something done. I am sure being around Lindsey will get her into trouble, but at 18, what are you going to do? It is so stupid that these two are so into health, but then are smoking. It is like having a diet coke with a big old hamburger. And the results of smoking are so many that these days people should know better. And Lindsey with asthma is just stupid for smoking. But I don't think brains run in her family.

21. Kara (#18), I so agree with you. Our hospital that I work at (and our competitor one, too) just went smoke free over the whole campus. I don't think someone at 18 has listened enough to others not to smoke. Maybe they need to go and visit a cadaver who has lung cancer. Or spend time with a person with cystic fibrosis who would love to just be able to breathe. I think these girls are so spoiled and in lala land that they think money and fame can buy them anything.

29. Can't understand why it is interesting. I read the article and don't want to waste my time on the video. Poor girl (Rumer)! She isn't even an actress, why are they chasing her? And it's not our business to decide if she is adult enough to smoke, and if Loan is a good company for her - she has parents for that. Mind your own business, everybody!

30. No, I will not mind my own business, these people were so desperate for fame and attention, and now they're getting what they wanted. Maybe they should have thought of how annoying having people follow you around constantly would be before they jumped on the casting couch and screwed their way into Hollywood (I'm looking at YOU, Hohan, and I know she was 12 when she started, but with a mom like Dina, I wouldn't put it past her to have pushed little Hohan onto the couch with a big old pedophile, if it got her some money and fame). Poor ugly little Rumer, she is the poor little rich girl indeed, having Demi for a mom and Ashton for a stepdad must be SO embarassing.
