Allegations McCartney Brutalized Wife

Heather Mills and Paul McCartneyA London newspaper claims a divorce document filed by Heather Mills, Paul McCartney's estranged wife, alleges that the former Beatle attacked her during their marriage. The legal papers also allegedly say McCartney was often drunk or high on drugs during the four-year union.

The Evening Standard reports Mills filed a 13-page petition with the court in London, alleging, among other things, that McCartney "would not let her have an antique bedpan under their bed to save her crawling to the bathroom at night." The newspaper reports Mills also alleges that Sir Paul forced her to cook dinner for him every night, even when she was "on crutches with a broken pelvic plate."

The Evening Standard cites an allegation that McCartney "stabbed her with a wine bottle." Geoff Baker, McCartney's former publicist, responded to the allegations by saying "Heather Mills is a complete fantasist and I would not believe her if she told me the sun set in the West."

The Daily Mail reports that Mills claims in the documents that McCartney attacked her four times during their four-year marriage. The Daily Mail cites an allegation that McCartney allegedly choked Mills, "forbade her from having an operation because it clashed with his holiday plans and called her an 'ungrateful bitch'."

Mills' London law firm Mishcon de Reya tells TMZ in a statement that it would not comment on "leaked or allegedly leaked documents" but that it "can confirm that Lady Heather Mills McCartney stands by everything that has been filed at Court on her behalf and intends to prove its truth in due course." The office of Sir Paul's lawyer Fiona Shackleton said that they had not decided whether a statement would be forthcoming as of 4:00 pm London time.

16. Give it a rest already...yeah right. Paul was married to a good woman for years. If there was even an inkling that he was an abusive cruel man the British press would have been ALL OVER IT. Heather is a freaking LIAR.

17. I have followed Pauls career for years, he is known for being a dedicated husband and father, and a good friend to all. He loved his Linda very much and was naive enough to think and fall for Heathers plan to nab him, hoping she was a good person who truly loved him like Linda did. I wish him well and also wish he would have listened to his daughters about Heather. He just couldnt believe she was a golddigger because he doesnt think that way. He is too honest and giving and would NEVER hurt anyone.

19. More Objective opinions.....lady or whoever you are.......Paul's first wife died of cancer, a very long and hard battle, he was by her side the entire time....do you really think that his character at his age all the sudden changed to a jerk who would abuse his 2nd wife, trust her enough not to get a pre-nup when he is worth billions, and force her to do things when she was ill. It has nothing to do with having a Beatles fixation. Paul McCartney is a good man, he has been in the public eye for over 40 plus years, and not once has he ever made negative tabloid news....I doubt seriously if he changed, on the other hand, this lady says people are after her, has gone after the gardner with pruning shears..she has made more publicity in 4 years negatively than he has in over 40. She is lying!!

20. Divorce is always so sad when there is a child involved, but it sounds like this marriage should've never happened in the first place.....frankly, if half of what the press has reported about Heather Mills is true, I'd be having a few cocktails and a few puffs too if I were Paul....let's hope they can, eventually, just focus on the business of raising their child.

21. Paul gets what he deserves, shouldn't have married so soon after Linda duh
can't fall in love after the love of your life pass'

22. I believe McCartney...my brother lost his wife at a young age to breast cancer, all before 40. I have just begun dating a man who lost his wife 2 years ago. Honestly having lived through this journey men are vulnerable, naive and longing to rebuild. Vulture is the only apt description.

23. PAUL! PAUL! PAUL!!! HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE SEEN THROUGH THIS WOMAN!!!

24. There is NO WAY this B---- is telling the truth. Paul is a man of character and he should've listened to Stella and to Heather's "ex". We've been hearing rumors about Mills for years-- and Paul DEFENDED her! This is all about money and keeping custody of one of his heirs. His children adore him and so does the public. I don't buy any of her lies!

25. She trying every thing she can to get custody of their little girl. She wants more money she's made that very clear already (refusing the generous settlement offered to her). And I don't have a "deep-rooted Beatles obsessions", I wasn't even born when they broke up. I think other posters have hit the nail on the head. His history doesn't support what Ms. Mills us saying about him now.

26. The only ones who truly know what happened between the two are Paul and Heather. We can speculate all we want. While the Beatles were ahead of my time, I can certainly appreciate some of their songs (who can't?) but the gushing and idol- worshipping of their own generation over them has always been and always will be kind of sickening to me. Get over it, people. Paul is not God. Maybe he should just settle out-of-court and save them both the grief. That being said, I would marry him for his money and he's not even my type.

27. It's never ever okay for a man to "attack" a woman, or visa versa.....but I know first hand that many many people, men and women, provoke it....if you keep pushing a persons buttons over and over again, like Heather Mills quite possibly did, even the most docile and patient people, like Paul McCartney, are going to lose control eventually.

28. I am so glad when an old schnook gets his due for marrying a young chick. Go for it Heather, there is no fool like an old fool. Hey old men, think twenty times before marrying a younger woman, it is only for your money, certainly not for your appeal.

29. I think most of Paul's songs tell the story best:

I want to hold your hand
She loves you
When I'm 64
Come toegther
Love me do
Baby You can drive my car
Ticket to ride
The fool on the hill
Help
Helter Skelter
We can work it out
Let it be
Why
Get Back
She's leaving home
Revolution
Can't buy me love
You never give me your money
I get by with a little help fom my friends

30. Anyone know what a "four flushing sonofabitch" is? ( I know what a sonofabitch is, it's the first part that confuses me.)
