I am going to check myself awright, the bitch was paid $60 million dollars to deliver cds that are hits 417,000 is a failure for This Bimbo Bitch when she was paid a huge amount of money for quality cds, not the sh*t she and Duprick are putting out. This cd fell from 2 to 19 in three weeks, that is a BOMB. This tit lovin bitch should just move to Bahrain or whever the f*** her pedophile brother is. If she would have pulled her pussy out at the superbowl so what. Sex is on television all day long. Everything on television is about sex. The song for the superbowl said "gotta have you naked by the end of this song" but nobody is blaming Justin Timberlake's ass for nothing. Why is america so harsh on women.? 94. Janet apparently put her faith and career in the wrong hands. Her "little dog Jermaine" got his way and pushed aside the ideas of Jimmy & Terry to produce this poor CD. What a shame. 95. The saddest part of this whole situation is the fact that a 5 second mis-step done two years ago has successfully overshadowed a 20+ year career full of number 1 hits, multi-platinum albums, grammy wins, sold-out tours, and an untouchable string of record-breaking achievements.

Regardless of how one feels about 20 YO, or the Superbowl incident for that matter, according to the numbers, Janet will always be considered one the greatest music legends of all time. Not only is she the highest paid female singer alive, but this year she has managed to score a number 1 single WITHOUT the assist of a specific three-letter acronym and pop-radio, which is something that can be considered impossible due to the amount of influence MTV has on radio.

I won't go into debating if 20 YO is a good album or not; It's been done too many times here, and frankly, I just don't feel like it. But I will say this: to debut at number 2 with 296,000 copies sold (which is only 8,000 copies less than that week's chart-topper, Ludacris) just on the strength of her name since MTV didn't even recognize the project during it's Spankin New Music week, is a crowning achievement.

Plus, Mariah Carey's "Charmbraclet" was released after "Glitter", but it wasn't the big comeback the company thought it would be; she became a star again three years later with "Mimi". 20 YO isn't the huge comeback album for Janet. I guarantee her next release 2-4 years from now will blow everyone away the way Mariah did with "Mimi".

I don't care if you think Janet is fake or not; just give respect when it's due.

For the record, I bought FutureSex/LoveSounds the day it came out as well, and it also is a great album. Although I'm pissed Justin was treated more like a victim than half of the problem, it isn't fair to hate him because I hate the way the media handled it.

100. I agree with you #7. I've noticed lately that each time it became time for a new album of Janet's to drop, so did another piece of clothing. Janet...you're beautiful already...sexy is not necessarily naked. What happened to the woman who was in "control" years ago?? Now she just seems like this self-conscious little child who needs to be cared for and protected from any and everything and everybody. I don't have a problem with Jermaine, but...Janet -- please take control again. Things went better for you when you were behind the wheel. the young stars now who can't really sing besides Christina Aguilera blow up because they also have lucrative deals with commercials like Revlon, L'oreal, Skechers Shoes, etc.....

Janet should have named her album 40 yrs. old and brought something out totally different...more mature and more R & B..... than recreate what she did 20 yrs. old...to me that was a big mistake.

How many artist can say that after 20 years they are still in the business and doing well. Every project with the exception of these two are platinum, (even 20 years old, without hardly any mainstream promotion)
20 years old was nominated for a Grammy. I think you all are down on Janet just because her last name is JACKSON !!!
