Yeah, and Rock Hudson was a roaring fag for 40 years, and I can STILL hardly believe it. That all means nothing.

I'm not saying he's a saint or trashing her, because I don't know these people. But She has a track record for screwing guys over and I think he comes across as someone who can be a real dick if he's not catered to. At the end of the day, he's stupid for not having a prenup. I laugh at all of this and think Linda or Karma is biting him in the ass because he totally let Heather say stupid stuff like "I'm the best sex he's ever had in his life" and when the village they lived in in Scotland had a celebration in honor of putting up a Linda statue, he didn't even bother going. If my husband did that sort of thing to me after I died, I hope I get reincarnated as a condor so I could crap on his head.

48. I don't trust the people who take their fight to the public. They are looking to do as much damage as possible because they know they will lose privately in court. Heather has taken a page from the Sara Evans' book and wants everyone to say "poor victim", and "do what you need to do for the child's sake". The children suffer with all of this public airing. Paul is right to defend himself in court and not in the public.

54. Since we weren't there first hand to witness the events in their marriage, we probably should refrain from rushing to judgement. Seems most believe Heather to be a lying bitch, and Paul to be the victim. May I just say, there are always two sides to a story, and while it's never okay to hit someone, maybe Heather "drove" Paul to it. Maybe he HAS been abusing marijuana for years, maybe he is devestated over the loss of Linda, and began drinking, maybe both the loss of his previous wife, and how the relationship was going, drove Paul to drink excessively. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, I believe there is probably a bit of truth to Heather's allegations, although probably more of it is exagerated than not. You never really know anyone until you live with them. Maybe Sir Paul isn't the prince we all believe him to be in real life, or maybe Heather is a real psycho, or maybe BOTH is true!

55. One more thing, Heather filed these complaints knowing they would be made public. Why? To give her more credibility when she WRITES HER TELL ALL BOOK. It will make her look like she did everything on the up and up, that everything she did, she did legally and through the courts. This of course doesn't mean it's all true, but it does make things SEEM more legitimate.

58. I understand quite a few people "saw this coming" early on, notably McCartney's children, and daughter Stella in particular. The prevailing opinion...both then and now...was that the still-greiving Paul McCartney felt lonely and lost after the death of his long-time wife and, when he had special attention shown to him by this attractive, much-younger woman, he fell rather impulsively and foolishly in love with her. He was attracted by her youth, her intellect, her perceived gutsiness in waging a normal life with a physical restrictiveness, and her avowed activism for "causes" (a trait that reminded him of his beloved Linda). The warnings to him were that she considered him a means to an end...not only in terms of money, but in terms of status , name recognition, and "pull" or "juice" in high places; more these things than the object of any true, warm-hearted, abiding love. McCartney didn't believe any of this , though, and married her anyway...proving to many that he was, in fact, the almost incurable romantic that he's always been perceived as being.
Over time, many people have stated their belief that there may have BEEN some spousal abuse in the McCartney household, but such observances have been to the effect that it was HER abusing HIM, not vice versa. "Baiting", derogatory remarks, insults, and ongoing attempts to manipulate and control have been mentioned in varying media outlets during the marraige....with Heather as the active "doer" in all such cases. Instances like her continually cutting him off verbally on a Larry King Show appearance are part of this kind of "I'm running the show here" image that she, herself, has engendered.

With no history of abuse allegations whatsoever in his past (and such activities start fairly early on in life and persistently continue, say the psychologists) , why should we believe they are going to suddenly start now...out of the blue. Doesn't track. Doesn't compute. What DOES compute is that he should have listened to his kids and others years ago and steered clear of Heather Mills. What is going on now is nothing more than the kind of vicious, underhanded,
mis-representational, disinformation-style "dirty pool" that goes on in far too many divorce cases...particularly those where big bucks and child custody issues come into play. She and her shysters are waging a mud-slinging war against McCartney in order to try and get as much leverage against him as they can in court. Bottom line: it's just a smear job, pure and simple, and I hope he comes out well on top of this thing when all the dust clears.

59. This whole scandal disgusts me. I am a huge fan of Paul's & The Beatles. I have loved, admired & respected this man since I was 13 yrs. old. I know that he is not a Saint nor is he God he is human just like the rest of us. Whoever leaked this story to the press should be ashamed of themselves, this is a private matter between the McCartney's. Personally I don't believe a word of it but like I said Paul is only human & who knows what demons haunt him.

60. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors...... I think he is smart for the sake of his child not fighting in the press.Why isnt she doing the same???? I think if he was so bad and such "an abuser" we would of heard of it a long time ago with Linda and his other children. I dont think hes completely innocent but she is NO angel I think she likes the $$$$$$$$$$$
