47. Okay, I REALLY DID NOT NEED to know this about TR Knight. Some things are just better left alone and unsaid. I do agree that Isiah Washington should not have blurted this statement out loud and I commend Patrick Dempsey for standing up fot his friend. But I REALLY, REALLY DID NOT NEED to know this about my honeybun George. I guess I'll just have to keep him in my dreams.

48. #43 -- I was not excusing Washington's actions on the set. What he did was wrong. He has anger control issues, like many of those responding to this blog entry. Perhaps that was why he went into the military. We can psycho analyze 'til we're blue in the face. The bottom line remains that Washington needs to learn how to adapt to all situations and all types of people. This is not a race issue. This is not a gay issue. It's an anger control issue.

49. #44 Linda. Dont you find it a little hypocritical that you're over here preaching about god and about man and woman if you're on a website that im sure your church pastor, reverend, father or rabbi would instruct you NOT to go on?
If you believe that whatever the tabloids say are lies, then why are you even on tmz.com to begin with?

Before you go preaching to the world that they may need help for falling in love with a PERSON that may or may not have the same genitalia as them, maybe you should check your values instead.
And as for the topic at hand. I completely agree. T.R rock on! you're helping the world accept everyone. Isaiah, you should be ashamed. If it was a racial slur directed towards you then you would have been calling your lawyer within seconds of the incident. Patrick Dempsey, I admire you for sticking up for what you think is right.
Im really starting to wonder how long this incident has been going on because it seems to me like they've been writing Dr.Burke out of the show over the past few weeks.

50. Grey's Anatomy is my favorite weekly TV series. I HAD the greatest respect for all of the actors including Mr. Washington. It gave him a huge opportunity to show the public his talents. However, after his rude comments to Mr. Knight; I have lost all respect for him. There was no need to refer to anyone as he did. I can't say that I will stop watching the show because I will not. I hope that the producers and sponsors of the series think twice about renewing Washington's contract.

51. #49 MIKE. Bear in mind that Washington's heated comments were directed at Dempsey with a derogatory reference to Knight. The incident was not racially motivated. Washington reportedly referred to Knight as a fa--ot (rhymes with maggot), which is an offensive social slur against gay men. Knight later revealed that he was gay. What happened on the set of Grey's Anatomy should not detract from the fact that all three men are very good actors working on a well-produced show.

52. Screw "Grey's Anatomy". In fact screw network television in general. It's all focused toward women, stay-at-homes, and people who live in fantasy rather than participate in real life. Fact is, everyone in Hollywood is either bi-sexual or gay, since it's "the way to go", so what's the big deal if Washington called it what it is ? He threw a hissy fit ! Over-paid, narcisstic, spoiled actors and actresses do it all the time. Without que cards, editing, and endless re-takes, these people couldn't put together a sentence unless someone yelled action ! Imagine what goes on behind-the-scenes.For "real" acting, go see a play. Guaranteed after this show ends, you'll never hear about these folks agiain, except when they go into rehab or adopt some third world, undernourished, spindly kid with flies around his mouth. Can we say "photo-op"? Yeah, Washington probably would have freaked out and started all sorts of law suits and whining if he was called an "animated ghetto action figure", but people have to get over this name-calling crap ! O.k., let's get it out now:

Fruit, rear-ender, fudge-packer, pillow-biter, sodomite, bone fetcher, twink, girly-boy, mary, chi chi man, etc. etc. etc. and all the thousands of names for participants in "a love that dare not speaketh its name " !

Point is, gays and lesbians are just as b-o-r-i-n-g as everyone else, and don't deserve martyrdom status in the 21st century. Fact is, as a group, they're economically ahead of all of us 9 - 5 slobs. Sorry- I haven't heard any lynching rumors on TMZ yet. When I do I'll change my mind. Turn off the tube, put down the gossip rag, and welcome to the "real" life, kidz.

53. I think that Washington definitly owes T. R. Knight an apology. If he was having an argument with Patrick Dempsey, what was his need to make a slur against Knight. If Washington remains on the show he shouldn't get very much air time.

54. #52 -- ABC producers have made it quite known that they're interviewing other actors who would love to take Washington's place. Although a sincere apology to Knight is in order, Washington's jealous behavior toward Dempsey certainly needs to be curbed. This is an ensemble cast. There are no stars.

56. You hit it RIGHT STRAIGHT on the nose when you say that Washington is JEALOUS BIGTIME. Not only has PATRICK DEMPSEY usurped everyone else on the show as the STAR, but now they bring McSTEAMY, ERIC DANE in to join McDREAMY, DEMPSEY. It is like I.W. doesn't exist at all and he can't bear it, or BARE it, as the case may be, heh heh. So, when Patrick commented on how Washington was late again, he couldn't take it and BLEW A GASKET. He didn't have to bring KNIGHT into it but his homophobia reared its ugly head. Hmmm, what do they always say about those who claim they HATE gays the most? Oftentimes, they are denying their own same sex urges? Who knows, but anyhow, too bad for I.W., but he just isn't that cute. If it was BLAIR UNDERWOOD or whomever, he might have stood a chance against P.D. and E. D., but too fricking bad!
Oh yah, and ERIC DANE better do ALL the driving in his family! (His wife is REBECCA GAYHEART, the actress who struck and killed a Mexican kid who was crossing the street, I believe in a crosswalk!)

59. Fire Washington, if it was anybody else they would be gone. It is it reverse discrimination? Boycott the show until Washington is gone. Homophobic is the word used on most others. He needs sensitivity trainning. Let's not tlet this go get on it like the Foley hom deal. Write the show, the government, the gay oranizations. But wait is it possible that Washington maybe a lib and that makes it OK? Or is it because he is black? Or could he worship Alah?
