The point is, they don't want Madonna adopting a black child...as evidenced by their posts. Attacking Madonna, the Pitt family and Tom Cruise... among others...Well, just as God is watching Madonna with a smile...he is also watching you racists and knows exactly who and what you are...and he is not pleased!!! What matters is that a hungry mouth is being fed...and that someone cared to feed it!!! To God, there are no country border lines...No America over Africa...or Europe over China...We are simply his children, that is all. And God makes us different in
color...accent...height...gender...sexual orientation...etc., to test our humanity...to test our commitment to others...and to test our commitment to God's doctrine for humanity to live by...Love Thy Neighbor...remember that commandment???!!! 18. Madonna can adopt me anytime if it's going to mean that I have a better life...and I'm an adult!!! Cultural norms, societal upheaval or not...I'm ready to be adopted!!! My point is, this is a chance of a life time for this child David...and these so called human rights groups are blowing it for him...his family and his village...who could financially benefit from Madonna's act of kindness for years to come...regardless of what her agenda might be or not!!! The fact is...in the end nothing but good could come from it!!!

20. This is why this country is in shambles. There are thousands and thousands of kids in the United States that need to be adopted. My mother was a foster parent for many years and adopted 10 children on top of having her own. The foster care system is over crowded. I hate to say it and I will probably will be critisized by those children in Africa, Cambodia that lifestyle is all they know. Many of them are born poor. Children in America that have the misfortune of being put in foster care look at celebrities and other people going over to Africa and China and think "what are we not good enough??" I know I work with them. These kids get put into group homes. I deal with kids that have been raped in foster homes, sexually abused, physically abused you name it, it has happened to about all the kids in foster care. The foster care system is so crowded that kids are being sent to other states because there is no room. The state doesn't want to give more money to help fund foster parents only paying them $13 a day and $300 every 3 months for a clothing allowance. Rich people pay about $30,000 to almost a million dollars to adopt a child in another country. It makes no sense. Its makes me sick. This whole Madonna thing is so out of hand. She needs to give the child back to his father. Madonna craves attention which is the only reason for this decision.

23. Did anyone happen to think that perhaps Madonna may have been buying these wonderful items for a sister, brother or friend who may be expecting? Unfortunately, the media doesn't want to cover that side of things, simply because it involves "ordinary joes" and not very sexy. Shame. We learn more from the ordinary, humble folks about how to be a good person than the ones that are addicted to attention.. We are so prone to imaginations, we fail to see the practical aspects of reality. That's why sites like this keep us out of real life and away from the stuff that matters. I'd rather be inspired by someone who has overcome challenges with grace, smarts and dignity.
