TomKat M.I.A -- Wedding on the Way?

Tom Cruise's Mom -- Click to Watch!For the first time this season, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were a no-show at Tom's daughter Isabella's soccer game this weekend -- begging the question, what kind of a major event is so important, that it would draw the couple away from their usual sideline seats? Hmm ... maybe a wedding?

While TMZ couldn't confirm that TomKat were actually out prepping for the big day, we could confirm that Tom called in a surrogate soccer mom for the weekend -- his mother Mary Lee Mapother. No word on whether Mary Lee was responsible for bringing the halftime oranges or the postgame snack.

16. tom controls the kids -- they're scientologists and he keeps them under his watch. he limits the time they can spend with nicole and everyone knows that. and they're publicity tools for only him.. has anyone ever seen tom with them outside of "soccer"? i know nic took them to pro baseball games -- where she actually sat right next to them. she keeps them out of the press as much as possible.

19. They were at the International Association of Scientologists Patron's Ball in East Grinstead in the UK on Saturday night.

21. to Heidi#13. I saw Tom with his children a lot of time not only in the soccergames ! I'm living in Italy: he and the kids came twice in my country during this year ; They were in Paris, in London, in Japan , in Australia and Tahiti(on vacation), at his mother birthday-party in Las vegas all together. I saw all the pictures!

22. wow #18 - almost sounds like you were there. couldn't be that he uses those pictures. whatever the case is, he doesn't want the kids around nicole, just like he won't want his daughter near katie's parents, or any other non-scientologists. the guy is a freak. i can promise you suri will never have a sleepover with her parents.

Sorry but I can't believe that Nicole is a soooooooooo good mother ! A sooooooo very good mother doesn't prefer to live in Tennesse when her children are spending their life in California! 25. I I don't think Nicole involve much with her kids life.I am sure she see them or spend time with them doing stuff.She don't have much control with her kids.Don't you think she should get more
involve with their lifes.Knowing what a control freak Tom is,most probably she don't have much choice or say .
