Celebrity Feuds
Oxy-Moron Limbaugh and Fox Ignite Stem Debate

Pill-popping conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh blasted Michael J. Fox recently for a political ad in which Fox supports stem-cell research. And now, right-wing cronies, celebrities, and even Jesus are taking sides against Fox and his position.

In Fox's ad, supporting Missouri Senate candidate Claire McCaskill (and other pro-stem-cell candidates), he sways and jerks uncontrollably, visible symptoms of his Parkinson's Disease. Limbaugh criticized Fox's spot as "purely an act," a remark for which he received a swift and vociferous backlash. (Limbaugh subsequently apologized.)

But today, on "Good Morning America," fellow right-wing lip-flapper Sean Hannity came to Limbaugh's defense, saying that Fox had a right to be criticized. (The National Parkinson's Foundation, in a statement issued to TMZ, explains that Fox's symptoms are actually the result of taking medication and that not taking meds would result in stiffness.)

And, in an ad airing during tonight's Game 4 of baseball's World Series, "Everybody Loves Raymond's" Patricia Heaton, Jim Caviezel (who played Jesus Christ in "The Passion of the Christ" and applies some Aramaic to his message here), and several pro athletes urge viewers to vote against Missouri's Amendment Two, which would provide constitutional protections against embryonic stem cell research.

16. Limbaugh just makes comments to stir things up. He has no credibility.

And, I lost ALL respect for Patricia Heaton during the Terri Schiavo incident.

17. It's just a shame to me that all of you who are so "pro" stem cell research have to resort to foul language to get your point across, maybe if you spoke without using foul language more people would be willing to listen to you. I have a family member who died from ALS, and it was a terrible way to die, but through it all she strongly believed that this was the path God had chosen for her, even through all her suffering she held strong to those beliefs. Not once did she agree with Stem Cell research, God bless her.

18. If any one in this forum listens to Rush and then gets upset over some other comments posted here they aren't being honest with themselves. Peopele get so mad and irate that they do post some mean repsonses.. Somehow I think he of all people can handle someone else posting that they wish he would die. But it is so lovely that some of you come to his defense. I'm sure he'll write you personally and thank you for that. LOL

19. The liberal kook mouth breathers, can only point out typos and curse rant and rave.

They are career losers, with nothing of merit to add to ANY society. Let alone American society. My step mom has MS I never said I was against Stem Cell research. Yea I am conservative but we don't all agree on everything we're told to agree on. UNLIKE LIBERAL MOUTH BREATHERS. you hate whatever your told to hate..you don't even know why most of the time. Bunch of followers, drink the kool-aid.

When ANY of you pachouli smelling mouth brathers gets ahold of AN ACTUAL argument I'd be happy to slap you around the forums here.

20. I agree with #4 all the way. Very shocked at Patrica Heaton and will not be watching any of her shows again.

21. Anybody that is concerned with what a so-called celebrity thinks is in need of an independent life. When you go to the zoo, do you care what the monkeys think? No, you just don't want them to throw shit at you. Limbaugh and his like are in the business of stiring the pot and keeping people distracted from what is really important. Heaton and all the other monkey should not have any sway over how you feel about what's important in life.
Make sure you get off of your rusty dusty and VOTE November 7th. Vote for whomever, now is a time for action.
PS
What's wrong with pachouli oil? It makes your momma smell good, real good, have another hit!

22. Prolly the only reason these folks are pro-stem cells is because their favorite actor or actress tells them to. And for the height of vulgarity and hate, always look to the so-called liberals!

23. Jeez, liberals sure do love to hate and want people to die. Hypocrits. And ever so mature.

24. Rush should admire Mike for taking his drugs openly. If Rush was stricken with trench and mouth disease and stem cell would help he'd be the first in line. This man is kin to jimmy swaggert.

25. Embryonic stem cells aren't babies. Embryos aren't babies. Until it's drawing breath it isn't anything but living tissue with potential. Cut it up and use it. What good is it to protect stem cells? Why is human life so much cheaper when it's poor and ignorant and living on top of crude oil? We got no problem letting a half million Sudanese farmers die. We're slaughtering even more Iraqis (who may or may not be helping terrorists, but since reporters aren't allowed to cover it we'll never know) so why get all bunged up and righteous over a few dead embryos? To be American is to have blood on your hands. Live with it.

26. Rush goes off confiring judgement on someone again, as all right-wingers think they can because they have a direct line from god. They don't want big government, except when it comes to regulating personal morality or religious issues like stem cell research, gay marriage, Terry Schiavo, pray in school, etc. Meanwhile, the poor are getting poorer, our healthcare system is a mess, our manufacturing base has moved overseas, the Middle East is on fire, North Korea has gone nuclear with Iran soon to follow, and guns and drugs are killing 100,000 times as many people as terrorists ever will. But hey, let's pass a Constitutional ammendment to stop flag burning - we really need that.

27. Who are the followers? NeoCons............without O'Reily and LimpDick telling you what to do you'd be beating your wives, smoking your cigarettes and drinking your Budweiser. All NeoCons are the same. Throwing stones in glass houses. I've never met a conservative who could think for themselves........never. You are are the true losers. Why are you wasting time here when you should be planning another fixed election. Time is wasting!

Posted at 6:53PM on Oct 25th 2006 by Kathy, Black Metal and all you other NeoCons

28. "All stem cell research is legal today in Missouri," and all you socialist, athiest, uneducated liberals would know that if you researched even alittle bit of the facts concerning this Amendment. You liberals don't realize the ramifications of stem cell research being used as a "Cure All". There is no cure around the corner and a false hope has been given to the contrary. Grow up you bleeding hearts and get your facts straight. This is about cloning and manipulating uneducated women into selling their eggs. Destroying lives to save lives. Hmmmmm

29. VERY NICE Renegades. Careful though the mouth breathers will accuse you of re-writes on his book.

I'm positive Rush was aware of this passage when he made his comments. Go figure Liberals lie , OH i never...

And Kathy, yes no one group of humans is nearly as hate filled as liberals. They border on psychotic most of them. Hence the saying

30. TMZ was wrong in but one thing: Rush Limbaugh never apologized. He said that IF it is proven that Michael J. Fox was not acted or faking it, he would apologize, but he has not apologized.

If I was a man who was involved in illegally taking prescription medication, I would hesitate before accusing someone else of faking an illness or NOT TAKING THEIR PILLS....
