Sara Evans and Hubby Call Truce

After hurling wild allegations and slinging mud every which way, Sara Evans and her estranged husband Craig Schelske have agreed to play nice -- but there is still a chill in the air.

Both parties showed up in a Nashville court to hash out some of the terms of their nasty split. When asked if he still loved Evans, Schelske replied, "Yes, I do." When Evans was asked if she shared the same feeling, the country diva said nothing.

Inside the courtroom, Sara and Craig both agreed not to air their dirty laundry in the press. They also agreed to take psychological exams, which could become a factor in the custody case -- the couple has three children.

They also agreed not to physically or verbally abuse each other. And, in a blow to Johnnie Walker, they agreed not to use "excessive" alcohol. Schelske also agreed to find a new place to live. For now, Sara will have primary custody of their kids and Craig will have visitation rights.

31. Both Sara and Craig need to think about the children and do what's best for them.
I have been down this road myself and the children are the ones who end of hurting in the long run and they learn by parents actions fighting and fussing does not heal, learning to talk and be kind to each other through hard times and giving the support to the children is a must. I do feel Craig went to someone else because he was not getting what he needed at home. But he needs to stand up as a husband and a roll model for his children and NOT LIE to them as he is to his self.
Sara I feel is a good harded women who has worked very hard to become who she is. I am not saying this because I am a woman as well . I see the truth

Several years ago, (maybe 8) she played locally in a neighboring town pavillion in Lancaster. I was getting coffee at a Wawa about ten miles away. She came in and was prancing around. Everyone seemed to know her. She was very warm and friendly to me. I just never liked Country. My spanish grandpop grew up playing nothing but from the 1920 through god knows when. He did his dornest to get me just to learn a few chords of guitar. I sort of sensed her roots by her demeanor. It turned me off being a hard-core north of the mason- Dixon kind of person. to me-- The only thing that ever came out of Courtry was Elvis and Sheryl Crow. One's dead ( unfortanely) the other who knows what? Anyone who's crazy about some of her idols like's dog sh*t for breakfast.

34. In the photo of Sara taken in the corridor outside the courtroom, did you see the bags under her eyes? She looks like she is losing it. Craig, on the other hand, looks bright-eyed and fresh. Their respective countenances would suggest that Sara's mental and emotional health problems are the culprit in this divorce, which also would help explain why she was the least able of the pair to keep this matter from becoming public folly.

35. i love sara evans, and i think it sucks when u are a celebrity, no matter what u do u are in the media. and as for them getting back together, i dont think they should. and i know most of u think this whole thing is stupid and have never blown up this big. but she is a celebrity what do u expect? i feel bad for the children

That is the STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard. This comes from someone who was in a bad relationship... and even seriously considered staying together for the sake of the kids (because this STUPID wive's tale goes back decades, I reckon)... once he turned from me to the dog to the damn Christmas tree... I knew I didn't want my kids growing up believing that THIS was the RIGHT way to live and grow in a "loving" home... to settle for anything less is not only shorting yourself... you're lying to your children, too.

37. I watched the video, and I am disgusted. I opened it out of morbid curiosity, but I was saddened by it. This couple is going through a divorce, and it seems our stupid tabloid media can do nothing better than chase them down and ask them a bunch of inane questions. I don't care if they're famous or not; everybody deserve privacy when they're going through such a difficult time. When will our lame brain media ever figure that out? TMZ, if you people have nothing better to do than dog people in such situations, then you are truly sick and need to find something better to do with your time.

42. Did any of you ever think that maybe the bags under her eyes are b/c she's stressed from the situation. Just because she has bags under her eyes doesn't mean she's guilt ridden! I have bags under my eyes sometimes, but it's not b/c I'm guilty of something...it's because I have a 3 month old son! AND, why in the world would she say she has pictures of him with other women and in a state of arousal if she didn't because you KNOW the court is going to ask to see them as evidence! BY THE WAY, there are ways to pass a lie-detector test...or maybe the right questions weren't asked.

44. I believe that no one know what all one person goes through and just because she is a star doesnt mean she isnt perfect i'm sure she is hurting also she needs support not ridiculed, she is only human how many women get hurt by there spouses and want to lash out and hurt back

45. Is it a coincidence that her dance partner she has decided to choreograph her next tour. I think that she cheated, got caught, and decided to blame it all on him knowing he would tell what she had done. This way no one would know exactly who to believe.
