108. lindsey, nicole, paris, they are young, beautiful and rich. yes they are celebs now, but lets wait and see what a few years will do. death is not prejudiced, it will come for anyone, even the young.
these girls are ABSOLUTELY PITIFUL. someone needs to do something to try and help them see the error of their ways! seriously, WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS???? probably still trying to deal with their own issues, so they've let the kids loose.

i hate to say this, but i will not be surprised to find one or more of them has died.
so very very sad.

109. i really hope nicole reads these things, cuz if she really wants to gain weight,all she ( or anyone for that matter that isn't lactose intolerant ) has to do is drink 2 or more of those carnation breakfast drinks a day with thier normal diet & they'll pack it on!!! i got down to 100lbs once to the point my friends & family were worried & that's what i did & gained 30 lbs in like 2-2 and a half months

110. Does anyone remember River Pheonix and the Viper Room. He denied doing drugs till the day he died. This is not the first time Ms. Richie has passed out. She did so several times while shopping. Ye of short attention spans!!!!!!!!! Did anyone happen to see what Clive Owens the record producer did for Whitney Houston. He removed her from the bad source. Her idiot husband Bobby. Did you see the photos of her from the weekend gala for diabetes. It's the healthiest she's looked since Bodyguard. Clive has promised us she will wow us more than ever. I believe it will happen for Whitney. Remember Natalie Cole????? Her mother shut down the trust fund and promplty promised to sue anyone who enabled her. Have ya seen Natalie lately??? That's what recovery looks like. And for those who say Lionel should not step in. It's what you do!! It's called intervention!!!! Have ya seen the promo's on bravo for regular joe's and jane's like us. When ya got that kinda dough it's what ya do. Nicole does know who her bilogical parents are. And she has been in contact with them. I constantly tell my younger family members whose mother has a substance abuse problem what can happen to them becuase they are genetically programmed to fail because their mother has substance abuse issues. I'm fortunate to work in healthcare and was able to show them first hand. What you look like when you die from this situation. I pray for both Nicole and Lindsey. Remember Lindey's father has substance abuse issues as well. The apple is tainted at birth. You are stuck with the genes your given at birth. Science does not know why some turn to drugs and other family members do not. Don't forget about the boys. Haley Joel Osmet with the alcohol and mary jane. Totalling his Saturn, Juaqin Phoenix brother of River had a crash alcohol related. And poster boys Charlie Sheen and Robert Downey Jr. Martin stepped in to save his son's life. So did Carroll Oconner (Archie Bunker) went on TV and threatened his son's drug dealer. But unfortunately Mr. Oconnor's son lost his battle to drugs. Remember people this is someone's child you are raking over the coals. You should be greatfull that you have control over things like this. As we see in hollyweird and the 6'oclock news, not everyone is so lucky. Stick that in your prayers!!!!!!

114. WOW...it's hard to discern whether Nicole is in rehab or what the heck she is doing ??? Didn't know that a rehab facility had a "revolving door" ...in rehab by day and out partying (drinking.drugs..whatever) by nights! She is in really totally bad shape ( she doesn't really have one...a "shape", actually!)! In her last "Simple Life" series ( Season 4 )...they dressed her in lots of layers of clothing and she still looked like a stick ...only with too many clothers. It did NOT hide her skeletal body.

I do agree with many of the postings at this site... Nicole will soon be the next Karen Carpenter (And SOONER rather than LATER!) if she does not get herself into some kind of rehab facility. Preferably a rehab facility that does not have a revolving door !! Once you are in the facility ...you stay and work the work.

Eating disorders in combination with drugs/drinking/partying...LETHAL!!!
I do know that a great deal of the time a person has "transfer addictions" (I believe that is the medical term?) and they can have anorexia and drug abuse going on at the same time. Sadly, though, with addictions/and or eating disorders there are the major issues of DENIAL, & DISTORTION. Those afflicted deny, deny, deny !!! Their "perceptions" of themselves are so totally DISTORTED that they (in this case...Nicole) don't "see it" for what it truly is! She looks borderline death! I know she has (seemingly) had a privileged life with wealth and fame (albeit...Nicole's fame was not "positive" most of the time) ! She has everything money and wealth can buy and apparently she still feels insecure about herself. I do wish the best for her, though, regardless. I realize she is 25 and is an adult and she cannot be forced to get help. (Like parents or friends can stage interventions when a person is under 18 years old). Still, though, sometimes family can turn to the courts to get "legal invention" to have their "loved ones"...like forced (committed) into a rehab. Sometimes the parents or close friends can gain "medical invertention decisions". It just depends which states have that proceedure, I think? But forcing someone into a rehab is not really going to work if the person / individual involved does not want to do the "rehab stint" ! I really hope, though, that Nicole does "get with a program"...I know she has really gotten a lot of publicity over her "antics"...but still, I do hope she seeks help before she collapses for good....like Karen Carpenter did!!!

117. I posted some comments the other day regarding Nicole's issues (eating..."non-eating" actually; her partying, drinking and reported drug use.) I was re-reading some of the previous comments and there are so many of you out there who believe she is on drugs AGAIN (on top of everything else) ! I certainly "wouldn't dispute" that her use of drugs is a problem !! I had seen a "piece" about her on the television...the "E" Channel did a True Hollywood Story on her...I had heard that when she was so totally addicted to heroin (before she did rehab in 2003)...she was down to 89 pounds at that time! Do all the street drugs (IE: cocaine, heroin, crystal meth) cause an individual to lose weight and not have an appetite or be able to eat properly ?? I am not knowledgeable about those kind of "street" drugs.

I do honestly believe, though, that Nicole has several simultaneous "addictive behaviors": hard-partying, drinking, drugs, and, YES, anorexia! ( "Transfer Addictions"). Another question ? Does any one KNOW for CERTAIN if she (Nicole) is really in a rehab facility ??? It's a bit confusing....having heard that she went into rehab late last week (Oct 26th or 27th)...I had heard that she and her "brainless heiress" friend, Paris were supposed to begin shooting the next Season ..(Season 5) of their "Simple Life" show. AND that now the filming for the show is "on hold" indefinitely....which is not any "great loss"!!! But I don't "get" how she (REPORTEDLY) went to rehab last Thursday (Oct 26) or Friday (Oct 27) and YET she is out partying with Lindsay and others on Sunday, Oct 29th when she (again) REPORTEDLY collapsed / (passed out) ??? What is the deal...do you get out of "rehab for free" on weekends ( like in getting out of jail "for free" I think is the "expression" ... Ha-Ha...although not runny really!) I BET that she would not have been able to pass a "physical exam" (medically) in order to be able to even "work on the set" of her TV show. I had heard ( allegedly) that she just barely "sweaked through" last season (Season 4) of that dumb show. Again, you cannot always separate " the real facts from tabloid truths" ...but I had heard that Nicole barely made it (physically) last season and that the producers or directors ...whatever do not want to hire someone who is so, so, so sickly looking (unless the actress is going to play someone is dying). It was reportedly "quoted" that Nicole's health issues would be too much of a medical liability ??? But again, WHO KNOWS ?? I just hope she gets the care / help she so desperately NEEDS and gets herself together ! I just get this "sick" feeling that very soon we will be "informed" that she has died from complications of her eating and drug disorders. Her muscle is nearly gone and her heart is a muscle, AFTER ALL, and she has been putting a "major strain" on herself for a lengthy period of time now. Would be so sad to have another "Karen Carpenter" occurrence!

119. People need to stop giving these girls publicity for being dumb. Dumb works wonders for their careers so why would they stop? If Nicole gains weight she will be off the covers of magazines, that is why she won't get better. Ignore the girl and her problems, there are more important things to worry about in this country.
