46. What about the fact that the kids father had never visited him in the orphanage? That's never. Hasn't seen him since he was 2 weeks old even though he lives near by???? Also what do you have against Madonna raising her child Jewish? It's kind of none of your business, it's her child. What went on between her and the father was explained quite well in her interview with Oprah so why can't you comprehend the facts? Or do you just remember the first thing you've read about it and never update your information?? Catch up! That kid is better off and would be devastated if she returned him to the dilapidated orphanage from which he came. The father just wanted extortion money.

47. What bothers me about this---is-- the child just flew from Malawi to London last week! Less than a week later--he's on another plane headed for NYC---I see she's already slapped a Kabalah bracelet on the poor thing. If she wants to be left alone---STAY HOME for pete's sake---get to know your new son--keep him out of the limelight--it is possible. She could have postponed doing the publicity tour for her new childrens book. It is true what Warren Beatty said in her Truth or Dare film---she doesn't want to live off camera--she can't live off camera.

49. How much sense would it make to adopt a child just to promote a book? It's not like you adopt the child and then just turn them over in a couple of weeks. Even if you have tons of money, an 18 year committment seems a bit extreme just to promote a book. Perhaps there are plenty of accusations to fling around here...but I don't think that makes much sense.

And as far as brainwashing the kid into Kaballah. Everyone does that to their kid. Most of you force your kids into Christianity. Religion is passed from parent to child on a regular basis. It's not abnormal.

AND...just because Rosie O'Donnell said that Guy Ritchie was against the adoption doesn't make it so. I'm laughing so hard at that post. Usually, when that woman opens her mouth everyone throws SO MANY insults about everything from how she's a liar to how much she weighs. Funny...when it suits you, what she says is gospel.

There's a log of judging going on about this adoption when really, very few facts are actually known. Yes, Madonna is kind of a media hound (what celebrity isn't?) and yes...she did write a pornographic book a while back (who cares...are you frigid or what?) but adopting a kid doesn't make her the hideous monster that you all are making her out to be. Geesh. You all make it sound like she ran out and killed a kid, rather than adopting one.

50. Maybe the reason she didn't put him in a car seat, is she probably thinks the Kaballa bracelet he's wearing, will protect him from his body projectiling through the windshield. Just a thought.

51. It is truly amazing how much controversy that this is causing.. The Old hag is trying to give something back, She has been a taker all her lifeand likely is seeking some form of retribution. Let the old hag have her due let the little fella live in peace. Seems like she does a good job at not exploiting them ( the other children) Heck I'm not sure how many kids she has or what there names are?

52. No one but Madonna and Guy Ritchie really know what their motives and reasons are for adopting this little one. I'm not a fan of Madonna's by any means, but I wish the press would back off and let the family be. Adoption is a private matter. It isn't our place to decide whether or not she should have adopted.

People are freaking out cuz it's madonna, I'm sure she can think of a few other ways to grab publicity if she chooses

55. I use to like Madonna a lot !! I use to love her music. I'd stay out all night dancing to it. I bought many of her albums. But I can't stand her anymore though. I do admire that she is adopting. I think it's great! No matter what country she adopts from. But I don't like any of her music anymore. It's all so over processed and so talentless that it's sickening. How old is she 50? Parading around in tights on video slinking around like she's this sexual tigress on the hunt all the time. Even when she pretends to be making what she considers a real spiritual remark in her videos, she's trying to put on bedroom eyes. Nice, real nice. More and more she's looking like an old drag queen. Another case of the king has no clothes. What kind of mirror does she have anyway? Another major sticking point to me is that she doesn't let her children watch TV or read magazines. But it's okay for her to make videos portraying a slut so that other children in the world can see it on TV. I totally agree with her on the point that children should not be raised on television. But reality is that there is a majority that believe what they see on TV is real. They turn the tube on and there the thing is in all it's glory strutting around like a cheap old whore humping this and that. It's very unattractive and embarassing to see someone who i admired so much, turn into what she is now. Why coudn't she have aged gracefully and with dignity for life. She use to be so cool and her rebelliousness had a meaning for the times Her inner beauty seemed to shine like a beacon. Now it's all lies and deceptions of fantasies, botox, ego and most of all getting money at the cost of young minds. If she doesn't want that for her own children to see, then why is she shoving it down the throats of other children? I think she's grotesque and the stations that show her crappy music videos should be boycotted.

56. You know who cares what her motive is he will be cared for by either one nanny or another and probably loved, his father didn't want him or money so he said. Let the kid have a good life. These people have the money to afford to adopt and give the children a good life in both countries so JUST SHUT UP!!!!
