In the midst of a split from hubby Bobby Brown, all eyes were on the pop diva as she stepped back into the spotlight on Sunday night. Houston was stunning in Armani as she walked the Carousel of Hope pink carpet arm-in-arm with music mogul Clive Davis.

This was Whitney's first night in the public eye since she filed for divorce in September, while her estranged hubby has been spotted out in LA with a number of different women.

Though Whitney didn't stop to talk to press, Clive let it slip that they're working on her comeback album and are currently looking for material.

19. I love Whitney. She looks great. I think she is beautiful and anyone who says otherwise is either blind or jealous. She should have left that loser Bobby years ago. She has the singing voice of an angel. You go girl.

21. Whitney looks wonderful and much better since the split, but it seems like people are putting all the blame on Bobby. Whitney had a problem before she met Bobby, Clive just gave her a squeaky clean public persona, but that was never the case. She is her own worse enemy.

23. Yeah...let's all welcome Whitney back with open arms. After years of ignoring her daughter, taking drugs, flaunting it and basically being a whore....yeah..divorce Bobby and let the publicist do their magic re-creating yet another actor/singer who hit bottom and has come back to tell us how horrible it was. Hollywood really warps our brains sometimes. If only us "normal" people got so many "second" chances in life.

She has a DRUG PROBLEM. She didnt do all these things being in a normal state of mind. She has an ADDICTION. She needed help and finally got help. Now she can take care of her life, her daughter, family and career.. Most of the world has an addiction to something. Your addiction is you talk like an ASSHOLE...

29. That is one of the hardest things to do for anyone in an abusive relationship, LEAVE! It takes years if a person survives. Whether she has problems Before Bobby, He certainly enjoyed being 'a man' meaning one who is demanding, got to have the spotlight on himself and hates it on another.

When I saw them in Israel and the PM went to shake her hand, she deferred to Bobby and looked at Bobby with a 'it wasn't me' look. I've seen it too many times with abused women.

So say things were her fault too, at least she is getting away from an abusive self centered moron and more power to her!

I hope she is nothing but a bitch to Bobby now since it's the only thing she has left for him.

With everyone else, it's time she remembers people care and it's not about what we can get for our own.
