The Royal Highnesses of "The View"

For one day, at least, the ladies of "The View" dressed up like queens, rather than acting like them.

The denizens of TV's favorite coffeeklatsch, joined by former morning-show diva Kathie Lee Gifford, took royal aspiration to a completely different level on their Halloween show and dressed as famous female monarchs, complete Rosie as Queen Victoria, Joy as Queen Elizabeth II and especially convincing physical (and dramatic) impressions. Elisabeth played Marie Antoinette, and Kathie Lee was, well, Catherine the Great.

But when it came to dearly (or otherwise) departed souls, Joy said she had an idea of what happened to Star Jones, when Kathie Lee mischievously asked after her. "We don't know where Star is," quipped Joy. "She got so thin she disappeared."

20. Rosie is great! The ratings back her up, and so does her many Daytime Emmys. I find it funny when people try to take Rosie down by calling her lesbo, homo, fat, etc. You can't take down a person when that person is completely comfortable with who they are. Rosie is proud to be a fat liberal lesbian. The one that seems uncomfortable is Elizabeth. She just can't keep up with the fast paced comedic wit of Rosie and Joy.

21. I thought I wouldn't like the View when became moderator. I was wrong the show is okay with her on it. I thought that their costumes today were great.

27. Rosie has brought all the girls on this show back to life. Star sucked the life out of it with all her Lipo sessions. I TIVO the show everyday so as not to miss a minute of the Hot Topics. Way to go Rosie on the Babs & Jim as house guests. Barbara Walters is genius for putting this crew together. Joy is my role model, Rosie & ELisabeth are my little sisters. LUV LUV LUV LUV it! ! ! ! !

29. Rosie is a big mouth, she is too loud, and she takes over too much. She should let the others talk. I don't know if I'll watch the show much longer, Rosie is good when she has her own show, but sharing just isn't for her.
