18. I saw Dennis at John Wayne airport a couple years ago. My helicopter flight instructor and I had landed at a charter business and we were getting some coffee while waiting for fuel. Dennis came in and started flirting with the girl behind the desk. He was waiting for a private jet he chartered for a flight to Las Vegas, I overheard.

He was as tall, but slimmer than I expected. And he was polite to the girl, with no foul language. So, the point is, while I'm not a fan of the guy (I didn't talk to him at all and I don't condone his behavior), his antics are all for the cameras and publicity.

Granted, his comments in front of his date were rude, to say the least, but who knows who she was? She was probably a paid escort (by Dennis himself) since he obviously planned to eat at the Ivy for a reason. And if that's the case, I doubt if she gave a sh*t what he said in front of her.

Bottom line, the guy is doing all he knows how to do now (since his ball career is over) and that is how to be a pompous ASS whenever a camera is around. And he is certainly not stupid in that regard, because rude, crude and "out there" is what's selling these days and has been for several years.

Examples? Jerry Springer (probably the original), various reality shows, UFC programs, graphic news programs, police chase shows, etc. And let's not forget OJ! He's a special case!

In fact, I'd like to correct the earlier post by "Leonard" that OJ is all those things. Compared to OJ, Dennis is an angel!

Anyway, you get the picture. This is what's considered "entertainment".

20. My God CLEO you scare me to death with all those CAPS. Anyway Dennis Rodman is grasping at straws and life has been and will in the future kick him dead in his sorry, nasssty, and pathtic ass. This is a man who will soon join o.j. simpson and Mike Tyson as toe jam, scum and ass crack dross. We will wakeup one day and hear Rodman killed himself and think oh well wonder if it's going to rain or will the sun come out.
