62. Anna is already ON drug therapy. Thats what the damn methadone is for. To keep her from going in severe withdrawal and REALLY going nuts. It's not a drug she takes to 'party' on. It was interesting to read the historical references in your post, i.e., the Nazis' use of it during WWII.

Do doctors allow pregnant women to take methadone and, if so, how would it affect the developing baby?

64. Thanks Tru Katsch, appreciate it. In Actuality, a woman who is pregnant/carrying or making the conscious decision to concieve should absoluetly NOT be on Methadone. It does affect the child in the womb and it does appear in the breast milk. No infant needs that. Unfortunately, there are some celeb doctors that turn a blind eye and here we see what happens, in this case of ANS and her children..........well child, now that Daniel is gone. I'm sure thats how he perished too, too much Methadone, because he couldn't get that "high" feeling. So sad, but true, I'm afraid. Then again, it's not my case and I shouldn't be making the judgements, so I'll keep my own pie-hole shut on that subject. Oh, how I love Forensics, though. - The Duke

Come on you can do better than that. He only wants the baby if it is HIS. What a ludicrous thing to say. That doesn't even make any sense. If the baby isn't his. She was taking drugs before, during and AFTER she gave birth to her daughter. Do you not read or what ? We have had blogs on here from Dr.'s and Drug councelors stating that she most definately is on something. We have heard testimonials from depositions obtained from wittnesses who counter what you just said. Why do you just continue to defend this drug addicted tramp.?

Just an FYI for you : Larry tried with all his might to get Anna OFF drugs. The fact that he cared more about their unborn child instead of HER NEEDS is the reason she left. He cramped her lifestyle. She wasn't going to compromise her drug use for anyone. Not even Danielynn. She is pathetic.

Remember she pursued her drug habit while she was pregnant. THe most selfish act a mother can commit against an unborn fetus. What ever small mistakes Larry has made along the way PALE in comparrison to the mistakes Anna has made. Get a reality check here. You could really use one. I know you knew I would come after you after those silly , unsubstanciated remarks. Please check any sources that might be available to you BEFORE you decide to make any more insulting remarks about Larry. ( Like HKS is more attactive than Larry....ha ha ha ..lol...now that is a good one ) If anything,,,,,,,,,,Anna needs to stay drugged in order to stomach that everyday. He is the worst.

69. You know, Tru Katsch, now that I think about it, that may be the case. Methadone has a bad rap anyway, because it's much easier to get for one thing, and it can be bought on the black market ( which opens a whole new can of worms ).

I think though, that no matter what she did or said, she would get tons of flack, merely because of who she is, what she has been through and face it, many people love to be cruel to one another. We see that on this site every day, from people who don't even know what they are really talking about. It just makes some people feel good to put others down.

Seriously though, I do think she would have gotten the flack no matter what she was on or what she did. It's humanity we're talking about after all. I think you get my drift, Tru Katsch. I'm thinking the drug you were referring to may be whats called Narcan. Narcan simply prevents opiate meds from working or connecting to the transmitters in our brains. In the end, Anna would still have to go theu terible withdrawal if she was given Narcan, and I think that is what they were trying to prevent. Plus, it would have made her gain all the weight back too. There are other names for Narcan and perhaps that is what you are thinking of, or else it has slipped my mind. 70. No # whatever you are.......methadone is NOT the #1 threat and is not filling any hospital with anyone on it. That is why we have government run methadone clinics. You make it abvious that I did get my masters from somewhere other than what you had to say.
