Xtina to Strip, Whip and Flip!

TMZ has exclusively obtained documents that outline every dirrty nuance of Christina Aguilera's upcoming Back to Basics Tour.

The risque chanteuse's 22-song set is broken into three sections; 1920s, Juke Joint and Circus, and includes over 15 scantily clad costumes.

Christina will be featured in various scenarios, from a good girl gospel choir, to a sultry strip tease in which she removes a flapper dress to reveal a vintage 20s swimsuit. In one of the racier numbers, "Nasty Naughty Boy," Christina, dressed in a bra and shorts, brings a male audience member onstage and shows off her S&M side by using five whips and a burning Wheel of Death. Subtle. Despite her current glamorous old Hollywood look, Christina proves she's "Still Dirrty" by donning some hot lace chaps and riding a carousel horse that comes with its own built-in stripper pole. Yow!

Although the tour highlights songs from her new album, Aguilera will still belt out oldies like "Come On Over," "Lady Marmalade" and a reggae version of "What a Girl Wants." Curiously omitted from the set list is the hit that made her a household name, "Genie in a Bottle." The show will close with a double encore of "Beautiful" and "Fighter." Sing it girl!

The, er, titillating girlie show kicks off February 20 in Houston, with the Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane rounding out the bill.

16. I would have expected Christina Aguilera to do the classy style that she had on her album cover, but I think not. Did she watch the Demi Moore bomb movie "Striptease" to come up with this concert for next year? It looks like dominatrix, racy, porn ovekill, as if she's getting what she wants. It's almost like she's copying the Pussycat Dolls' sexy image for her live show. No, this is one idea that I'll reject. Christina should focus on singing and not push the sexy image too much. But we do live a world of choreographed dancing, a huge lighting and pyrotechnics performance/production and visual presentation and Christina is following that route heavily for this tour. And I'm sure that the music and distorted sound will be played so loud that some people ears are going to ring the next morning.

18. Whore shmore . . . she's got talent and she's trying to be an entertainer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't entertainers wear make up? Don't actresses and singers pile up make up for awards and concerts? Does Beyonce not pile up the make up and call on her alter ego to get her thru a show?

Some of you gals are quite hypocritical; I've lots of you over-dress at concerts and out on the town, whoring yourself the same way you are saying xtina is whoring herself.

Hypocrites!!!

23. Christina thinks she's all that but she's unoriginal. She has copied what so many artists have already done. I won't be going to her show and I'm show not many will either that's why she needs 2 other acts to help her sell tickets. Singers like Christina show what a bad influence Madonna has been to the music industry. I also don't think Christina's voice is all that. For singers in her age group I like Joss Stone, and Kelly Clarkson better. Christina has the most annoying, cat being strangled, voice since Celine Dion.

26. Okay, so let me get this straight. Y’all hate on Christina because:
1. She acts like a “whore”.
2. She thinks she’s the most beautiful woman in the world.
3. She copies former stars (I’m guessing you mean Madonna)
4. She wears too much make-up
5. She isn’t a dancer.
6. She’s an over-rated singer.

Is that the best you got?

First of all, I hate it when people throw the word “whore” around. Especially, when women do it. Even in 2006, there is this amazing double standard about sex. I think Christina put it best- “If you look back in history/ It's a common double standard of society/ The guy gets all the glory the more he can score/ While the girl can do the same and yet you call her a whore” Sex is part of life. Women should be allowed to have all the sex they want, with whomever they want- as long as they’re safe and doing it for THEIR own gratification and not someone else’s. Only in America, will you see this double standard and it sickens me. That’s why she’s so huge in Europe and other foreign countries. They’ve grown up. When will you? Here’s a few lyrics to let all the haters know what Christina’s response is to your cheap opinions. “Don’t tell me to behave/ Cause I’ll never play that game/ Don’t tell me what to do/ Cause I’ll never be uptight like you/ Don’t look at me that way/ Cause I aint never gonna change/ And if you’re talking ‘bout my life/ You’re only wasting your own time/ If I wanna wear lingerie outside of my clothes/ If I wanna be erotic in my own videos/ If I wanna be provocative, well that ain’t a sin/ Maybe you’re not comfortable in your own skin.”

I have never heard her say she’s the most beautiful woman in the world. If anything, I’ve heard something along those lines from your beloved Beyonce. I believe she said she wished people would stop concentrating on her good looks and notice her true talent. Christina’s been quoted to say she too has insecurities especially regarding her nose, but thinks it’s important for women to celebrate what they like about themselves instead of focusing on their flaws.

I’ve heard from a lot of haters, that Back to Basics is a knock of version of I’m Breathless by Madonna. Madonna created a mediocre CD based on the jazz of the 1940s. Christina has incorporated soul, jazz, gospel, funk- all the ingredients laid down by the TRUE innovators- Etta James, Marvin Gaye, Donnie Hathaway, James Brown. Billy Holiday, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Louie Armstrong, Otis Redding, John Coltrane, etc. She studied them, gathered references, did her homework and came up with something much more substantial than Madonna could ever create. She’s bringing the sounds and vibes of the 30s-70’s and mixing it with the old Hollywood style and a modernized twist. She’s introducing our younger generation to REAL musicians and singers, who would otherwise miss out due to the wide generation gap. NOT TO MENTION HER POWERFUL VOCAL PERFORMANCE, which Madonna could only wish she had.

It’s funny how people wanna find any reason to hate her, for example “Christina the TROLL with 10 pounds of makeup whoring herself to get attention.” What do you care how much make-up she decides to wear? If you don’t like her music or hate her image, you DO have the option to listen and look at someone else. Just recently dancing has become a prerequisite to be a pop star. I guess that’s what comes along with the creation of music videos. Music has become less about what you hear and more about what you see. Apparently, what America wants to see are pre-teens dancing robotically to computer-generated beats and vocals. Where has our taste gone? I blame Britney.

Last but not least, you guys claim she can’t sing. I dare you to find at least one credible critic who questions her talent. You’ll find none. I have a theory about you guys. You’ve become desensitized by the amount of crappy pop music out there. NO ONE SINGS ANYMORE. There are some exceptions but for the most part for every Christina there’s fifty Britneys with catchy beats and computerized vocals. Shouldn’t we ask more of our pop stars. For all the money we’re giving them, don’t we deserve more than a two-week creation like B-day.

I know this is VERY long but someone needs to tell y’all the truth. You’re haters with bad taste in music. ‘Nuff said.

27. Nini, thank you so very much and the other poster who called these women who bash Chris hypocrites, big ups to you too! There is no legitimate reason to hate on Christina. Her music is different from what else is out there and her voice is freakin' iconic! Beyonce is so freakin' overrated, I can't even stand to hear about that female anymore. The number one reason she's so successful is because she's good looking and she has a curvy figure, because that's all music is about nowadays, how good looking and sexy the artist is and how well they can shake there ass! Beyonce wears a ton of make-up too and so does every other celebrity in Hollywood. I think the knocks against Christina's looks are unfair. She's a good artist and a great vocalist and that's what should matter. britney is quite possibly the most overrated and overexposed woman is history. I've never in my life seen a person with so little talent become so damn famous. britney is ALL about her looks and body. If her face and body isn't in top form and she can't dance around in next to nothing, she can't have a successful record out. That shows how little talent, is any, is there and that's what ruined the music scene. I hope britney never has another successful album again, so I won't have to have her untalented, fake, air-headed, white trash ass shoved down my throat anymore. By the way, I bought tickets to see Christina at the Staples Center here in L.A. and I can't wait! I love you Christina!

28. Christina is not innovative. Innovation means to create something that has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. Christina is modeling her career after Madonna in everyway. Just take a look at their careers. Madonna has already done the Marilyn Monroe thing waaaaay before Christina existed in the music world. The True Blue music video was based on a 1950s theme. I'm Breathless was a throwback to the 1930s. The video for Vogue was a hommage to the Hollywood stars. Don't EVER say that Christina is not ripping off Madonna. You'll be lying through your nose. On top of that, the Back To Basics album cover is a complete rip off to Madonna's Bedtime Stories album cover. The only thing Christina did was did this in more modern days. She's doing EVERYTHING that was already done before her. Christina lacks in SERIOUS unorginality.

I won't be supporting Christina. I can't wait to see how many tour dates she starts scaling down. Thus cancelling.

29. For the record, Christina's upcoming tour is a rip off to Madonna's 1993 Girlie Show tour. Madonna was a whip-cracking dominatrix on that tour. Christina is wack and needs to come up with her own ideas. Is there any originality these days?

Posted at 2:23AM on Nov 6th 2006 by India

30. I don't understand your logic. Just because Madonna made a throwback album, like what, sixteen years ago- NO ONE ELSE can make an album inspired by the jazz, soul and blues music of the 1930's-50's?

How does that make sense? Madonna does NOT own that type of music.

Christina's free to use her inspirations to create her OWN interpretation of that type of music, just like Madonna was free to do it in 1990. Years from now, or even next year, someone can make their own interpretation of that sound. To say that someone has already done it, so no one else can do it limits music's possibilities and variations.

As for the CD cover, she was imitating a shot of Marilyn Monroe. NOT MADONNA! I saw a piece of that photoshoot on Youtube. She brought a reference, which was a close-up picture Marilyn Monroe laying on the bed. “She's doing EVERYTHING that was already done before her.”…. Uhhhhh, no sh*t! It’s a throwback record, that’s the whole point! She’s paying homage to the innovators.

“For the record, Christina's upcoming tour is a rip off to Madonna's 1993 Girlie Show tour. Madonna was a whip-cracking dominatrix on that tour.”

The only song on Back to Basics that is in anyway burlesque, is Nasty Naughty Boy. If you had the album and heard the song, you’d see the dominatrix style is relevant. That is ONE song on the entire album. TMZ called the show a “titillating girlie show”, not Christina.

All in all, Madonna did not create this type of music. Not ONE person did. It was created by a compilation of pioneering singers and musicians, which laid the format of today’s music. All Christina is doing, is recognizing this and making music she can be proud of. Even Etta James, herself, called her an “old soul” and said it was like she was here many years ago.
