Britney Ices K-Fed

Newly single and icy cool, Britney Spears took to the world famous ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center in New York tonight, in a post-filing-of-papers celebratory skate. With K-Fed in the deep freeze, she has reason to celebrate.

Brit's manager Larry Rudolph helped the blonde pop tart stay upright, while hordes of amazed tourists took pictures and watched the teen idol skate. Once Britney got her balance, she was twirling and putting on quite a show -- just two hours after news of her split was scooped by TMZ.

Just before skating, she did some damage at a local Gap store to pick up an outfit for the rink. She looked fine in her slick black pants, plunging neckline and white hat (the good guys always wear a white hat).

She had been seen earlier leaving her hotel, and dining at Italian bistro Baldoria, protected by dark glasses and a large bodyguard.

31. Good luck to Ms. Spears. My biological mom was a "superstar" who gave me(and my twin sister) to my "superpolitician" biological father (who later abandoned and separated us. 32. I am so happy for Britney! Iguess like the rest of us girls, we do eventually go thru the badboy-loser phase! I don't know about a pre-nup, but even if she didn't have it, it'll be worth it to get him out of her life. And sole custody for the kids. KUDOS for her. Kevin reminds me of the stupid immature fathers i see around town and it would def be in their best interest to go with mama.! Congratulations Britney! You are now a woman! 34. While Brits skates it up in New York, celebrating being newly single, K-Fed finds out by text msg over dinner, while in Toronto promoting his CD and apparently his Rock solid marriage. The Loser didnt even see it coming.
A local news station got great footage of K-Fed at dinner, looking stunned as he was retrieving phone or text msgs.

38. Finally, she got a brain! I'm not exactly a fan, but, comparing her to the other "Pop Divas" out there, who collectively don't have one brain, Britney dumping that white trash, wannabe, is probably the best decision she's made in a very long time. I'm still trying to figure out WHY someone with her popularity would even hook up with someone like him. She certainly had to have her pick of the litter in men, why she chose a wanna be player, and leech is beyond me. Now if she is smart she will continue her career with class and put this huge mistake behind her. I just hope she doesn't go crazy and is seen partying at every hot spot on the map, like she doesn't have a care in the world, because she does have two children now. Doesn't matter if she is still very young, she has to act like she's got some very big reponsibilities. She can't possibly be like the old Britney, she has to invent a new Britney. Her image should reflect someone who has matured, but of course is still sexy as ever. Still think she can't sing to save her life, but she's got something that sells. As far as "he's" concerned, he'll probably just continue living his wanna be lifestyle, until the $30,000 a month (Britney has to pay him, for about one year) runs out. I'm sure he'll be livin it up like he's a player and then he'll crawl back under that rock he came from. I hope her next choice in a husband is better than her last! Good luck with that.

Cheat with a married man who abandons his pregnant girlfriend - who has already had his other child - to marry you, and you find that he isn't good person to have married?

Britney hasn't suffered any pain that she didn't happily watch Shar Jackson suffer, and Shar had a lot of pain that Britney won't have to endure.

44. I was SO FREAKING HAPPY to see these headlines.....

WHOOHOOO!! I knew her children would make her stronger and she would get the courage to KICK HIM TO THE CURB! I think she was planning to do it right before she got preggers with the second little one....then things changed and she tried to make one last go of it. She made the effort for her kids...that is commendable, but now it is time for her to GET ON WITH the rest of her life WITHOUT the baggage of K-Federlump.

I don't care if she sings her heart out, or retires and becomes a full time mommy, I am just happy to see her getting her life BACK without the loser taking what she worked so hard for.

45. How inappropriate. It just goes to show that no one takes marriage seriously anymore. Granted, K-Fed is no prize. However, she chose to marry him and have two children with him. Whatever their issues, the demise of a marriage -- especially when there are two children involved -- is always sad. It just proves, once again, how immature she really is.
