K-Fed Battles Britney for Custody

Kevin Federline has responded to his estranged wife's divorce petition.

Federline is asking for legal and physical custody of the couple's children. Sources tell TMZ that Federline will fight Spears on the custody issue. In the response, obtained by TMZ, Federline is asking the judge to award Spears visitation.

Federline is also asking the court to award him spousal support.

Federline's lawyer, Mark Kaplan, filed the response Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

In her petition, Spears asked for sole physical and legal custody of the kids.

316. Perhaps Britney and Kevin should take some court-ordered parenting classes and counseling. Sean Preston and Jayden James are a bit too young to know what is going on however, Kevin and Britney are both public figures, and their entire life is playing out publically as well as being archived. Sean & Jayden will no doubt read about the divorce and custody battle in the future.
Both parents need to refrain from the partying....Brit with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan of all people! At least pattern yourself after respectable young women like Reese Witherspoon, etc.
Don't get me wrong...I think the children would be better off with Britney but she needs to employ enough assistance to help her run things. Have minimal yet civil contact with Federline regarding visitation. I am so sorry that the kids are being used as pawns. I wish the best for all concerned...

317. Give K-Fed a break...........Are we certain it was not Britney who used him. After all it was Brit who made the first move from what i understand. She knew he was having a baby with another woman and that didnot stop her. Why do guys run from this girl?. I won't be so quick to judge no on knows what happens behind close doors. All we know is that Britney has more money thank K-Fed which doesnot make her better than him or a better parent.

318. Poor childern...would be better off without either of them. Of the two who will stay out of the damn clubs long enough to raise them. Sh*tty having two unfit parents, daddy wants a woman to take care of him and mommy is just trash. What REAL mother would be away from her NEW babies and be okay with it

320. i think kevin should get his kids because britney got cought diving with one of her babys on her lap.that shows you how great of a mother she is right there.kevin if he gets his kids he will take care of them.who knowns if they are really his kids anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!
