It may have seemed like a mission impossible for Tom Cruise, but he has gone and done the unthinkable: packed on the pounds.

Ever since nabbing the woman of his dreams (and mother of his child), Cruise has definitely let himself go. While his bride-to-be goes from pregnant to slender (almost unbelievably so) in preparation for their upcoming nuptials, Cruise might want to make sure Giorgio Armani does last-minute fittings of that tux, just in case.

Indeed, Cruise and Holmes have favored Mastro's and Wolfgang Puck's CUT steakhouses for their well-photographed supper jaunts, and as their respective menus suggest , this is hardly low-cal cuisine.

All play and no work make Tom, apparently, a fat boy.

46. I applaud TMZ for continuing to focus attention on Tom Cruise. I don't care if he's fat or thin, the important thing is that Tom and his crazy behavior stay in the news. Tom is promoting Scientology, which is a dangerous and destructive cult. The more Tom has a spotlight on him, the more Scientology will have a spotlight on itself. Abusive people and abusive organizations thrive on secrecy and don't want anyone to know what goes on behind closed doors. Publicity is needed to reveal the ugly truth.

47. Thank you Hippo, my thoughts exactly. Before Cruiser's Oprah appearance and interview with Matt Lauer alot of fans didn't know his feelings on psychiatry, etc... Well it backfired on Tommy, didn't it? With that 1 interview he lost millions of fans. Sumner Redstone realized it and that's why he fired him from Paramount. I'd like to know who is going to spend money to see his next movie. Young girls think he's old and creepy. Older women hate him for his remarks on PPD. Who is left? I for one hope he continues to talk about it. Maybe eventually everyone will see $cientology for the destructive cult that it is.

48. It is not the weight that I am concerned about....its the damn hair-do!! I hate it...he needs to go back to his up do...and leave it the hell alone..it's a winner....maybe its the other way around, folks..maybe Kattie Holmes is telling him what to look like? He likes casual clothes..now, he is appearing in business suits....and a new hair-do..and some weight...who knows..sure as hell none of us do....

54. Tommy, so defensive, my goodness! Wouldn't it just be easier to type with the closet door open than to type using the closet light? It's really bad for your eyes if your mom didn't tell you. And lots of hot guys are gay. Personally, I could care less if you are gay, and I don't think you are hot - but yanno, some people do. And I think if Doogie can come forward, and Lance Bass, then fling open that closet door and live your life. Just go for it - you do all those stunts in your movies, but can't open a closet door - hmmmm, something is wrong with this picture.

55. Tom is strange, but I've never got the gay vibes from him. The way he acts and treats his ladies is one thing, but he does love his ladies. That sect he's involved with would mess up anyone's head. Marriage in Hollyweird is a bloodsport. His marriage won't last more than five years.

more wrinkles. In a few years he will be just a tired old man with
grey hair. He will become slower, sicker, and eventualy die just like every other man in the world.
