Angie Causes McFlurry in India

Angelina Jolie finally got herself some fries to go with that shake.

Overcome by a Big Maharaja Mac attack earlier today, the actress took a quick break from the set of her upcoming movie, "A Mighty Heart," to chow down on some fast food goodness -- in full costume, of course. Personally, we would have gone with the McAloo Tikki Burger instead. Yum-a-loo!

Angie would have been disappointed if she actually tried to order up a real Big Mac; cows are sacred in India! There's a mcnugget for ya.

21. @ jen....U r wrong, and not just wrong but LOUD & WRONG.
Cows are sacred. This is a known fact. Have u even been to India? Probably not.
Cows roam free instead of being penned up like they are elsewhere. Do u have any Hindu friends..ask them.

6. Just for the record, you idiots, cows are NOT sacred in India. The Hindu religion doesn't accpet the notion of 'sacred'. It's a Christian concept that the west has tried to "assign" to several aspects of Hindu. It's just a total fabrication...... a myth that unfortunately has become accepted as fact.

22. #4. Now that was a really ignorant remark. Indians don't eat animals. Only babaric cultures like our's does.

23. #9, How is Jenn sympathizing or even
claiming the case for a cow?!
You might accurately say that it takes an Indian to know
Indian culture, but your wit falls flat fromwhere it apparently never
even took off. Yes,apparently you know yourself very well as you said
yourself that it takes a cow to know one. Maybe you can go to your
made up India inyour head where you can be deemed sacred and
worshipped.

24. #22. Yes, Hindus feel all animals and other living beings are sacred but I think Jenn was saying that
cows in India are NOT WORSHIPPED. They are RESPECTED. Comprehend?

30. Okay...so, Angelina Jolie eating at an McDonald's in India may not be the biggest thing going on in the world today...But everyone commenting here took the time to browse the fluff...

That said, what piqued my interest about this was the fact that there were McDonald's in India and I was curious about what they served (As a personal protest, I don't patronize McD's anyway due to their contribution to the decline of rainforests...as a vegetarian, I just wanted to know) I bopped on over to the McDonald's India website where I found they DO NOT serve beef of any kind. They do have chicken items, but they are prepared completely separately from the vegetarian menu items--which comprise at least half the McD menu options. The workers who prepare the Veg friendly items are even identifiable by their special green aprons. And...for the disparager who did not do his research while accusing TMZ of failing in that regard---the sandwich in question is, in fact, a McAloo Tikki. Be comforted Vegetarian McD India diners--even the mayo and ice cream options are prepared with vegetarians in mind.
