Lets Get This Party Started
Will Whitney Lose Her Mansion?

Whitney HoustonIf she was looking to cleanse herself of all traces of Bobby Brown, this might be one way to do it. Re-emerging songstress Whitney Houston might be forced to give up her New Jersey mansion in a sheriff's sale because she owes more than $1 million on the mortgage and she hasn't paid the taxes on the property.

According to local newspaper reports in New Jersey, the sale would take place in January, with Mendham Township owed about $83,000 in property taxes on the lavish 10-acre estate, which comprises two lots. Houston's rep denied that the property was in foreclosure, and Houston has, sources say, spent very little time at the Mendham house, and uses it largely to house relatives and friends. Houston spends the most of her time in Los Angeles.

Jessica BielJessica Biel Latest Jeter Squeeze?

Mariah Carey, Vanessa Minnillo, and now ... Jessica Biel? Apparently, Derek Jeter has snagged yet another high-profile beauty: the Yankee captain and "The Illusionist" star Biel were spotted at Hollywood celeb-boite Hyde Tuesday night. They were "laughing and giggling together," according to Page Six, and Jeter massaged Biel's shoulders, say Rush & Molloy. The couple left the club together, though Jeter has also been spotted in New York the past week without Jessica.

Larry KingLarry King: The InterWHAT?

Hey Larry, welcome to 1997! On his show last night, talk-show host Larry King told guest Roseanne Barr that he'd never used the Internet, that he "wouldn't love it," and that it probably wouldn't be a viable political medium because there are "80 billion things on it." And then he proceeded to ask Barr how the bizarre invention -- what's it called again? -- works: "What, do you punch little buttons and things?" Barr, ever gracious, offered to show King how to use the complicated contraption. King declined. Too many moving parts, no doubt.

Reese WitherspoonReese Emerges Ryan-Free for Dolly

Reese Witherspoon will be making her first big post-divorce-announcement appearance at the Kennedy Center Honors gala in December. According to Planet Gossip's Marc Malkin, the Oscar winner will face the cameras (and the questioners) at the annual lifetime awards function in Washington, D.C., in tribute to her fellow Tennessean, country music legend Dolly Parton. "Ever since I was six years old," said Witherspoon, "when people would say, 'Who are you going to be when you grow up?" I'd say, 'Dolly Parton.'"

Justin TimberlakeParty Favors: Justin Slags Janet in New Song ... Piven's Jack Black Jealousy ... Lord of the Dance Seriously Ill

Justin Timberlake didn't like Janet Jackson's perceived diss on "Oprah" recently, and now he's hitting back in his new song "Give It to Me," according to MSNBC, with lyrics like "We missed you on the charts last week/[Bleep] that's right, you wasn't there." ... Jack Black says that Jeremy Piven is still jealous of him after losing out on the role of record store loser in "High Fidelity," which explains Piven's rude behavior at a recent film premiere. Piven, according to Page Six, stepped right into a conversation and turned his back to Black. Piven's rep says he "loves Jack Black." ... Michael Flatley, aka "The Lord of the Dance," is suffering from a mystery illness in a London hotel, according to reports. Reps have refused to comment on his condition but it may have something to do with the facial cancer condition he battled earlier this year.

77. Janet Jackson and the Jacksons are legends in their own right. They may be strange and they may be quirky, but many of you who post comments here are too young to recognize and appreciate some of the pioneers of R&B and Pop music. If you were in the limelight every day of your life, how "strange" would you be? You cannot truly answer that, can you?

I'm sure that Justin Timberlake has some talent in his own right and I am far from being a hater. It is ludicrous for Justin to slam anyone who has paved the way for him to steal steps and styles that he's mimicking today. Justin's got his little pecker wet with Cameron and a bit of celeb behind him... but he has no respect for the people of color... even those who's backs his fame is riding upon.

This story has been going on for ages... from the Elvis Presley's, to the Vanilla Ices, to the Eminem's, to the Justin Timberlakes. Middle America and Europe is more accepting of music from people of color if it is performed by a white face. Justin has seem to have forgotten to pay respect to his elders that has afford him to be anyone but a white boy from the South. Simply, Janet and the Jacksons as a whole are living legends and icons. They've worked hard to fight through color lines and oppressions and tabloids to be who they are tody. Justin, and any other pop-kid of today has a lot of nerve to attempt a diss at anyone of the Jackson calibur. The Jacksons are living history. Justin is a little boy with an ego issues. I think he needs to take his own advice and go "Cry Me a River"... also, by the way, sampled from a black artist. How many more women is he going to bitch about in his songs?

He needs to be a damned man, but that just goes to show you, he's a little boy with a bit of fame and money and is so clouded that he is losing his damned mind.

79. Lets see, first JT come at Kanye, then he tries to back down, then he says the boy from American Idol can't sing in a bucket, then he come at Janet, you gotta be kidding me!!! F*** the charts, it's for the tone deaf buying public, I see JT begging, oh GOD why can't I be a real singer like Robin Thicke??? Step your game up, without Timberland where would ya be?

80. Whitney,
i hope ur paying close attention to the 'more sensible comments online.' Particularly, the one stating that part of recovery is 'taking responsibility.' Now that doesnt mean to air dirty laundry to us but it would (or could) be quite cathartic to "admit publicly" that you had a problem..Otherwise, you may continue to swim in da NIAL for a longer while...You're still the GREATEST [Love]OF THEM ALL!

81. Man, so many harsh words on the Janet/Justin scenario. Look, whether the song is, or isn't about her, the "shot" she supposedly took at Justin is deserved. Remember that after the whole Super Bowl incident (which I believe they BOTH planned), Justin just put all the blame on her. Saying it was her idea, and things like that. Well, it did take two to pull the stunt off. And up until now, Janet had been real quite about the whole thing!

Now, so far as their careers go, like it or not they are mirror images of each other. Janet, nor Justin, are just superb vocalists. Their showmanship, and popularity, is what keeps them going. And its their past success that make people give them another chance.

So people keep it civil, and logical folks.

82. leave all your nasty comments regarding Mr L. King to yourselves, he happens to be a family friend; he is kind, generous, giving, caring, a great father, a great friend to people , let alone a talented interviewer and journalist, you should all be so lucky to be like him when you get to his YOUNG age; he is human just like you are, dont say nasty things about people you dont know, put your energy somewhere else more positive..

87. First of all, let me say that Whiteny Houston has been, and will continue to be one of, if not the greatest singer of all times. Up until Bobby Brown she has been a perfect lady through out her career, you never heard anything negative about her or career or personal life. I think this little crack attack that she has went on, is just a phase, and it too shall pass. The main focus should be her daughter and then her career (we can only hope and pray that Bobbi-Kristina doesn't turn out like her thug father). As far as Justin Timberlake, yes he can dance and hold a tune, but he's overstepping his boundaries talking about Janet. She's soooo out of his "big headed", "frizzy haired", "wanna be cool" league I'm sure she's not losing any sleep over him.

88. Hi Whitney.....I sincerely hope you're reading these comments. I have never before voiced my feelings about a "STAR", but at this time I am. You have a beautiful voice and you have been abused by a loser. I have "known" you since you've been 17 years old and your life and preferences have gone down hill since you're dysfunctional marriage. I wish you love. Please re-enter the world as the talented person you are. You don't need any enhancers; you've always been high on life. My husband, gifted with perfect voice pitch, and the world's most perfect gentle man, died 2 years ago. He loved your presentation, your voice and your style. PLEASE!! Know who you are...and that's a winner. Close the negative chapter out of your life and live a new beginning. xoxoxooxoxoxo

89. well I love Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson but they both to my opinion have never had anything to do w/each other before the whole tit issue. If Janet stated anything about Justin Timberlake then she shouldn't be wearing close that lets your titi hanging out !!!Point Blank!!!! as far as Justin Timberlake he needs to worry about his own problems w/Cameron Diaz that's a whole other issue. As far as Whitney Houston is concerned girlfriend guett into rehab and divorce that LOOSER husband she has been supporting all these years and guet her life together for her children and come out with a cd to make Bobby wish he still had her but cant afford her.

90. My guess is that this is not her only home. It may be her NY home but she probably has one in CA too and may not be that worried about losing it.
