92. I have to say. I agree that Michael is not a racist. You have to understand that this guy is enduring a flatlining career. He is on stage trying to entertain a single audience and he has people heckling him. I never understood this. Why heckle? If you really aren't enjoying the show, fucking leave. You basically sacrifice the performers pride. Its cruel and its a low form of human behavior. Was calling them that word right? NO! But it doesn't make him a racist. Its like getting bullied on the playground. After a while, even though your not aggressive or not one to phsyically fight another person, you have to stand up for yourself and compromise yourself to create some justice. I think there is a side to this story that the american public just cannot comprehend yet and may not for decades...think about it...

I used to be pretty much biased as to the color of one's skin, then I worked in a Music Store and guess what? 78% of the stuff that got stolen was Rap music. Who mostly buys Rap music? Ok.. Now more than 4 out of 5 times we catched a black kid/man that stole from the store, they started yelling at us and saying we were a bunch of racist white trash. Guess what, we smiled and then we showed my good buddy's wife. Black as you can get. They continued with their rambling calling us racists, and all that shit. Didn't fase us at all. More than 75% of the poeple we caught were blacks stealing, the other 25% was divided with little white boys trying to be blacks and stealing Rap Crap and the rest of the population. Did we do "Racial Profiling"? Probably did, maybe not so much of a racial profiling as too "Musical Preferences Profiling" and it saved a lot of money in theft for the store.

I have never been so blasted by the blacks in my life than those 4 years. And by the time I left the store, they had made me more racist than I ever was. And that's a fact. So white trash... If it means not being a softy "oh my god you can't say that.. that racist" and being someone who lives in reality, then let it be. You have the right to your opinion.

96. No one can preclude criticism or racism.

Sure black comedians make fun of ALL ethnic groups, but nine times out of ten we make fun of ourselves. Spoken from a black woman; I hate the fact that black people "make up" names for their children, not for the fact that their trying to be creative, but it's just hard to remember a name that is uncommon or that doesn't relate to anything. I'm sure the first thing that comes to everyone's mind after hearing a bizarre name, the parents of that child must lack education or common sense and some of the names are out in left field. I wonder WHERE IN THE HELL did they come up with that. I guess I'm pushing the same dialogue as Bill Cosby.

Unknowingly, we all set ourselves up for criticism.

Also, not all black people run to the NCAA or the Rainbow Coalition when something like this happens, I believe most of the time affirmative action takes place when there is a threat to the lively hood of black people. Sure some black people ruin opportunities for themselves, as well as white and hispanic. I believe it's to much focus on color and not what's in a man's heart. When we die race won't have anything to do with whether we lived our lives to the best of our ability.
So I won't hold Mr. Richards comments against him. His comments has hurt him more than the guys he were directing them to. Right now he has to live with public embarrassment (the media is good for that), not the entire AFRICAN AMERICAN community.

99. Sustaining a relentless onslaught of verbal abuse against audience members is hardly comedy. Since when is abuse funny??? Next time you are experiencing an awkward moment why don’t you curse at and verbally attack those in the midst of your company. Lets see how well that works for you. Stop making excuses for the guy. Oh and get this, he walked off for a reason, and people left the comedy show for a reason, and everyone was refunded their money for a reason.

I think Richards has no reason to apologize, those guys had it coming to them.....why pay to see a show if you're just gonna be a dick in the audience.

What would you have the man do? Committ sucide? Enough is enough! The so called perfect public always asks for a public aplogy, but when they get it from the person they continue kicking them when they are down. The only person who he owed an apology to was his audience and the two men he offended. Not to me or you!!! If the men he offended had any decency they would also apologize for responding to his remarks by calling him a name in return. Two wrongs don't make a right. This is how you improve race relations. You make idols out of these celebrities but as soon as they make a human mistake you attack them viciously. Try some compassion and empathy instead of making horrible anger filled postings. You lead by example not by words.

I liked the comment about Louis Farrakhan. Lump Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and all those white-man bullies in the mix. Then add the continual black comedian's jokes about the inadequacies of white people (be it their rhythm, speech, style, althletic ability, physical makeup, you name it), and pepper in a bit of Ray Nagin "turning New Orleans back to what it was intended to be - a CHOCOLATE town", and maybe a side of B.E.T., and you have the most racist country on the planet, and it ain't the white people I'm talking about.
To not see this is to be utterly blind, or full of hate for Caucasions yourself.

One more comment - THIS IS FREE SPEECH. Pornography is covered under the Constitution as "free speech", but this is not?... Time for a revolution, folks, before this country goes out of control. Eh, it already is...
