Britney Makes Up For Lost Time

It started with her drive-by appearance on Letterman on the night before filing divorce papers. The very next night, she was caught at a New York City Gap store shopping for cotton thong panties and clothes for an evening of ice skating at Rockefeller Center with an old friend ...

That old friend was her former manager, Larry Rudolph, the man who transformed Britney from former Mouseketeer into America's reigning Pop Princess. His relationship with Brit was solid until K-Fed came along. Kevin reportedly had a problem with Larry, and Brit chose Fed over Rudolph. Just one night after she left K-Fed, she reunited with Rudolph; it appears they were in talks before Brit's split.

Now, old television commercials for Britney's fragrances have begun popping up in time for the holidays, and rumors of musical collaborations with the likes of Pharrell, and a surprise appearance at last night's AMAs, are signs that the hard-working Britney Spears is definitely back. One thing she's retained from her K-Fed days; that awful gum-chewing. At least she tucked her gum to one side of her mouth while she presented the AMA to Mary J. Blige. Classy.

Meanwhile, there are rumors of a surprise superstar appearance at Los Angeles radio station 102.7 KIIS FM's annual concert, Jingle Ball. Our guess: It's gonna be Brit.

Now, can she emerge as an entertaining adult? I don't know. She can start by accepting resonsibility for her two infant sons.

5. I am not a Britney fan (music) but I am glad that she is back and getting over her divorce. K-fed tried to ruin her and made her into white trash like him. Luckily, she learned or hopefully. Even if Kfed gets some good money from the divorce...he'll suck that dry in a month and be back to broke.

8. Reese Witherspoon would be a great role model for Britney--she's dignified--hangs out with her children & doesn't go anywhere near Paris as far as I can tell. Britney needs to remember she's in the middle of a custody fight (not to mention she's just given birth) --stay close to home and hang with your home baby boys--their more important than any career.

11. Ok, Everybody needs to grow up and get real! Britney Spears knew exactly what she was getting into with K-Fed. He's a Stud(meaning alpha male used primarily for breeding) and was never anything but himself. She wanted a pimp daddy bad boy pretend thug and boy did she get it. Let's be honest Kevin has two kids from Char Jackson and two with Ms.Spears, so what does that tell you? K-Fed can "lay pipe" and probally had Britney crawling the walls. There must have been something because I wouldn't have let someone like K-Fed come between me and my $$$$$. I don't blame K-Fed at all, and I do mean at all. "People only do to you,what you allow them to do", "Every now and then people expose to you their true selves,but we often choose to ignore it" and for all of you who thought that was too deep "A donkey gonna do, what a donkey do and that's is act like an ASS,and you're a fool for treating it like a horse!"

12. I don't know if Britney gonna have this so called "comeback". Yeah there's gonna be buzz about her new album when it comes out but the true test is can she sell as many cd's as her others.
Britney even admitted she doesn't know who her fan base is anymore. All of the preteens who adored her before have all but abandoned her. She has to find her audience first and clean up her image and stop trying to be like Paris Hilton. I mean there are too many rich party girl types out there who think they can sing! Try to be original.

13. Don't worry about Britney's comeback. She will comeback with a bang just like Mariah did with TEOM back in 2005. Britney will rock 2007 like crazy. Whitney better watch out. Her fans are already terrified. I've read a lot of great news on Britney's album. It will definitely be a huge banger. I'm sure all of you haters will have a copy in your collection.

Mariah, Whitney and Christina can sing.
