31. JT#31 - Couldn't have said it better myself. All of these daytime talk shows have become nothing but long drawn-out commercials IMO. The "guests" do nothing but promote their latest movie, book. CD, etc. - most of which are worthless and then they have the "freebee" giveaway of the day. Boring, annoying, boring. Rosie has ruined "The View" and Ripa has ruined "Live" and is in the process of ruining her sham of a marriage.

32. A lot has been written on this site about the whole Richards thing. But racism is not the only social ill in this world. Sexism is very real; don't believe me? I invite you to research the wages of men and women who have equal experience, competence, rank and seniority, and then tell me if both are earning the same.

But consider the following: as a female, if I was at that club and Richards attacked 2 women hecklers with such insults as "b!tches" or "sluts" or any other derogatory term for a female, I would think, "that's the best you can do?? How lame." I would *not* think, "this guy is a sexist pig. As a fellow woman, I want him to publically apologize to all women and pay those 2 women hecklers for this negative experience!" Why wouldn't I? Because that would be jumping to a conclusion that I know deep down is not true. Having said that, could some of you at least consider the idea that Richards is not a racist, but instead a lame stand-up and angry person?

34. The hecklers had no business acting like that in a public place where God knows what could have happened .
What if people had started fighting and falling all over the place and somebody really got hurt? I think the hecklers owe Michael Richards an apology and an apology to the crowd.
I pay money to see an act and you interrupt it then the hecklers ought to pay me back.

However, Michael Richards behaved very badly as well.
I am sure he is very ashamed and upset.
If he can't deal with hecklers he needs to get off stage and let management deal with the stupid hecklers.
Michael Richards was way out of line, but no one has a right to interrupt a show that I am watching and have paid $100 for my seat!

In any case the hecklers sure got a lawyer in fast....Hmmm

35. This guy is JUST so insincere to me. His inner emotions came out that night--yeah a big O Racist who acted as if he was under the influence-imo
Jesse with the child out of wedlock--yeah 2 hypocrites together-mo-like birds of a feather flock TOGETHER.
just like Mel who ranted about jewish people--this guy should not get a pass and should be BANNED from that club for life

36. it's odd seeing emotional posts by some of these folks who, obviously, have not really taken time to investigae what really happened. the club allowed in and seated a large group of 16 kids...mixed race. as they were coming in, richards made comments about "here come the mexicans and the blacks"---they were seated and went about ordering their drinks. no one had said a word to richards...and he kept at it. at one point, one of the kids at the table repeated wheat another had said, louder... "you're not funny"---and THAT is when the tirade started. in other words... michael's ARROGANCE in combination with the club maybe letting the people in at the wrong time got richards going. the kids were not "heckling" the guy. that lie has taken life. richards initiated it... and stoked it. i feel the real catalyst here is (ex)star ego. not hecklers.

38. Coach seems to be really really stupid with limited reading, listing and learning comprehension. The guys were only loud because they were ordering drinks they didn't call him any names untill after his racial attacks and tried to play it off as a joke. He took the loud talking offensively, the guys were wrong for being loud but being offended and not tolerating disrespect from a racsit.
