Some stars gracefully make the move from acting to singing and actually enjoy some success. Jamie Foxx did it with his star turn in "Ray," which prompted him to record a hit album. Other stars moved from singing to acting; Madonna was amazing in "Evita." But some stars should stick to what they do best.

The only thing memorable about Jessica Simpson's acting debut was the Daisy Dukes she wore. And while Paris Hilton has taken some heat for her singing ability, her album can be classified as a hit. Her acting "talent" in films like "House of Wax" and "The Hills" has been called the s**t, and not in a good way.

16. #2 selling 500,000 copies worldwide is not good! Most artist who are good sell more then that in the US alone! Paris says she's this big star and everyone loves her and her album has been out for months now & only went gold worldwide! Beyonce's album sold that much in her first week in the US alone!

17. Ms Simpson, you obviously require much in the way of career guidance so I will help you out. Now, you can't sing, act, read, talk, or anything else that requries any brainpower. You are famous because you are stupid and have big plastic things where women's breasts are normally situtated. So, you need to take as your role model Pamela Anderson! Now, she at least knows she is stupid and talentless, and does not torture us by trying to sing (alas she does titure with "acting," but still). She also services the breasts at least every 2 years with breast lifts! yes, Jessica, time to get back to the mechanic., you are looking droopy....

19. Next. Ms Anderson, knowing her body is her only "talent," manages to stay thin, so lesson two, lose that fat stumpy little body and do some damn exercise! And finally, stop trrying to deny you are part of the skank pack, Britney, Pam and others have all sealed their fate by partying with Queen skank Paris, so stop hanging out with your ugly family and go suck up to the Hiltons! Maybe if you, Paris, Pam and Britney all hold hands you will explode in a final Skankoramic meltdown and the world will once again be a beautiful place.

20. Thank God TMZ is saying what the general public is thinking. Jessica CANNOT act, has made two movies with scathing reviews ( MSN said she had "as much presence as a 12 oz. can of peaches" regarding her performance in "Employee Of The Month). I cannot believe someone is paying her to make another movie (Blond Ambition) ! Although, with this her first "starring" role, after it bombs we won't have to put up with seeing her as much. Not sure what she'll do next, as her CD bombed too. I guess she'll have to keep peddling those hair extentions.

22. Oooh, I'm looking forward to her next flop cause it will be BIG! She got the role because daddy/boyfriend Joe is producing. But we all know she can't act, and while the last piece of s(@t may have been marginally saved by Dane Cook fans this one will definitely SINK! Because people judge the music they hear, not the person. Undoubtably, your daughter's music SUCKED and Paris's music is a million times better your daughter. That I'm 200% sure. Just because you make mediocre music and have the best voice in the world doesn't mean everyone is going to like your music.

25. Paris and her sister, Jessica and her sister = NO TALENT.
Runs in the family.
Jessica's line of candy flavored lip glosses and body sprays were
priced outrageously. Now stores can't even give the crap away.
It's smelled hideous. Next she'll be on QVC with Joan "The Mummy" Rivers.
Her biggest mistake was dumping Nick Lachey. You need to get away
from daddy little girl and grow up.

27. I thought that Paris Hilton's album was very, good catchy pop that matched with her sexy, vulnerable image. I think that it just was against heavier competition by some top names the week it was released. Even though it hasn't performed as well in the US as predicted, I am pleased that it is performing better in other countries. But I think that some singers aren't good actors--Jessica Simpson was okay in Dukes of Hazzard but lousy in Employee of the Month. 50 Cent wasn't that interesting in Get Rich or Die Tryin'--too bland in his acting approach. I think that Jennifer Lopez has been a better singer through 4 albums of mostly dance pop--she has sold very strongly on all of them. And I think that Jessica Simpson should fire her father as manager and get with The Firm or Roger Davies or someone else to handle her career. Her latest album has sold terribly (as good a voice she has, I'm stunned that it's sold 200,000-300,000 copies) and her movie with Dane Cook came and went after a month--she's just never caught on with some consumers.
