Court Orders Anna Nicole To Scram

A court in the Bahamas has ordered Anna Nicole Smith to vacate the house she's living in -- STAT.
Smith docs

TMZ has obtained a default judgment issued yesterday against Smith (aka Vickie Lynn Marshall). G. Ben Thompson, the owner of the home in which Smith has been living, recently filed papers to evict her. Smith was required to respond to Thompson's filing by Monday, November 27, but failed to do so.

Yesterday, the court entered a default judgment, which means Thompson can now force Smith out of the house.

TMZ obtained a letter that Thompson's lawyer sent to Smith after the default judgment was entered, demanding that she vacate within 48 hours.

Thompson was once romantically involved with Smith and claims she told him he was the father of her baby. Thompson says he put a quick end to Smith's claim when he informed her that he had a vasectomy several years ago.

636. AJ oh AJ....Your post #639 is...let me see...how can I say this mildly...WRONG!!! I do not care where you sited your information from...it is... simply put... INCORRECT.
It is late and I know you must of put a whole lot of effort into researching "your questions" you had about methadone, however at this hour I will just say that I do know addiction to heroin, opiate AND Methadone from personal experiences of unfortunately over 25 years of research. I am very proud to say I have 7 years clean and sober and am in the field of addiction. I have been the guest speaker many times to rooms full of "experts" i.e. Doctors, Psychologists, Psychiatrist, to inform them from the perspective of an addict (there is no better expert than one who has lived it) what cannot be explained or understood in books. I am not tooting my own horn here, I just get frustrated when ppl quote outdated material that is not factual. Or even up to date material, that is in theory not experience. Just because it is in a book does not make it fact. One thing I DO know is ADDICTION/DEPENDENCE....all the same just different terminology. I will be back to break it down for you so there is no misunderstanding. Whether you agree with me or not is your choice...but I pretty much am the only one on these sites that have shared my knowledge about addiction as well as my own personal experiences and it just seems like you intentionally are challenging my honesty, experience and knowledge on the subject. I don't know maybe I "misunderstood" you, but I kind of took it personally.

Just my (unpopular) opinion....Night, KIKO

637. Kikoke, no it wasnt addressed to you personally, I thought it might clear up some questions that I had, and other posters seem to have had. I have been wondering about methadone use in pregnancy, about how it is prescribed, in what dosages, are the dosages ever increased, what FORM of pill or tablet is most common, how was the methadone in Daniel's system traced back to ANS, was there debris in Daniel's stomach from pills, etc., etc.

As far as you being the expert, I was neither challenging you nor disputing anything you had to say regarding addiction. Sorry you didnt like my source. It was written by Drs, PhDs, laymen, and sources were cited from, among other organizations, the National Alliance of Methadone Advocates, et al. So I thought it was pretty good material.

Apparently you did misunderstand me because I certainly wasnt addressing you specifically. I have been under the impression that this was a MESSAGE BOARD used by people to discuss topics and exchange facts, ideas, theories and opinions but since, every time I do that, someone takes it upon themselves to trash me and my ideas, I must be mistaken.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

638. Opinion, much of what you said could be true, and I say could be true. But also we got to keep in mind other motives and theories. I know mind about possible suicide could be and I say could be possible. I'm not discounting anything that ANS and HKS have or are currently doing. You theory is a very good one and I respect it very much, but I'm seen to much Law and Order, CSI and unsolved mysteries. Maybe it's doesn't seem like alot of shame to us that our mother would act like the biggest whore and scum bag alive and the whole world knew but we weren't Daniel and we have no real idea what was rattling in his head. We've all been teased by friends and classmates and boy does that really hurt.

639. Kikoke, you say A.J.'s post is wrong. I have found similar information as A.J. uncovered.
It could be argued, then, that Larry Birkhead's demands to have ANS discontinue the methadone might very well have had deleterious effects on the unborn baby.

Another interesting fact to be extracted from the article is that methadone clearance is more rapid when a woman is pregnant and the plasma concentration is supposedly less during pregnancy (because of increased metabolism, most likely).

I defer to your firsthand knowledge of addiction, including your expertise on methadone maintenance; however, it is worthwhile to present the full picture, i.e., the other information that is "out there" so that readers can weigh in on both sides of the argument.

With respect to ANS and Dannielynn:
According to the articles I have read on the subject, if ANS had been taking methadone during the final days of the pregnancy, the baby would likely have experienced withdrawal symptoms beginning anywhere from several hours after birth to several days after birth. The symptoms - crying, restlessness - would be moderate compared to babies who are born to heroin-addicted mothers but the duration would be longer than that experienced by heroin-addicted babies.

640. #647....What are you talking about ? What did you read that TMZ pulled ? TMZ seems to be getting good at pulling news !!

641. AJ-- it's not just your opinions they trash. They seem to think that they are the know all and end all of the subject of ANS and "Addiction/dependency" of any and all drugs. Don't worry. Your opinion is worthwhile and sheds a lot of light on subjects not being dicussed by the "know it alls". Thank you for concise and informative blogs. They are very much appreciated by all us "IDIOTS" that can't understand these things since we weren't stupid enough to fall in to the trap of dependency. Thank you and keep on posting. We love ya!!

642. Wow, I have so much to say. About a third of my blogs haven't even been making it on here.

First, to RJ, Rhena, Jen, Leave them alone, cerry and NO ARREST: Nice try, Anna Nicole/Vickie Lynn. Your baby is crying while you're posting a bunch or unitelligible B.S. Dirtbag.

In light of the lack of activity and news on this matter lately, I believe this is definitely the calm before the storm. Something is about to break. ANS and HKS were quiet until last night. I am positive that their counsel finally convinced them to shut their big, stupid mouths; and they have replayed the footage of all the arrogant spouting of their mouths and are panicked that they can't undo it. Something got them nervous; I think they must have received a visitor. I think that 12/15 is the "drop dead" date for Bahamas law enforcement but that will have made their decision before then: either proceed with an inquest or proceed with criminal charges. The AG is looking at it right now and no one is talking. I am betting that the AG will skip the inquest in order to keep everyone close and things moving before evidence/testimony is compromised. They're rock-solid, if they know how to put a case together.

I am going to do some research for the million-dollar questions: 1. Is Dannielynn a Bahamas resident? and: 2. What is the statute of limitations on murder in the Bahamas? I'll let you know if I can get any closer to those answers. My presumptive answer to #1 is "no," and #2 is "none (not that that counts for anything)."

AJ: I'm really disappointed in you #639 blog. Nice advertisement for the drug company, by the way. AND CIGARETTES ARE NOT ADDICTIVE EITHER, ARE THEY? I guess you're forgetting how Daniel died; and you think that Anna is NOT addicted to methadone. So, if methadone is not addictive, why the hell is there a street value on it? And why the hell will junkies do anything to get it? Methadone is controlled HEROINE -- period. EVERYTHING affects a baby in utero; cough syrup, cigarettes, aspirin . . . And I thought you were being somewhat reasonable. At least U.S. CPS will have a difference of opinion. Do you also argue with the theory that a junkie cannot properly parent a child? I'm sure there's some research that will support the opposing opinion.

643. Here is current(2006) info of the effect of methadone on pregnancy and birth of children to addicted mothers.

Outcome of pregnancy. During the first few years of methadone maintenance, the question of possible damage to the fetus in pregnancy was often raised. The question can now be answered decisively. The rate of congenital malformations among babies born to mothers taking high doses of methadone both before and during pregnancy does not differ significantly from the rate to be expected among nonaddicted mothers of the same age, color, and socioeconomic status. 9

The course of pregnancy among women on methadone is generally uneventful, with few complications. Birth complications are also what might be expected in a comparable nonaddicted group.

Careful evaluation of the babies at birth, performed at several centers, reveals only two deviations from what would be expected. The Beth Israel findings in 19 babies is typical of the findings generally.

First, while few of the Beth Israel babies born to mothers on methadone maintenance were in fact premature-born too soon--one-third of them had the low birth weight (under 2,500 grams) typical of premature babies. This is, of course, a handicap. The proportion of lowbirth-weight babies is about the same as among babies born to mothers on heroin. 10 How much the heroin and methadone contribute to the problem, however, remains in doubt. Low birth weight is also a characteristic of babies born to mothers who smoke heavily--- and almost all of these mothers were heavy smokers. Low birth weight is also frequent among the poor, the black, and those otherwise socially handicapped; almost all of these mothers were in one or more of these categories.

The other condition frequently found in babies born to mothers on methadone was hyperirritability--- the pattern often mistakenly called "withdrawal symptoms." In the Beth Israel series, 8 of the 19 methadone babies were born completely free of such symptoms and 6 more had symptoms too mild to require medication. Five babies had moderate symptoms requiring medication. None had severe symptoms. 11 This was a better record than for Beth Israel babies whose mothers were heroin addicts not on methadone. As noted earlier, this hyperirritability may be related to low birth weight--- or to factors wholly unrelated to opiates

AJ never stated that methadone wasn't addictive to adults or users. He stated that it was found in older studies not to be addictive to a developing fetus. GET OFF AJ'S BACK!!!
Maybe it's time to do your own research Diego Chick

Posted at 11:50AM on Dec 6th 2006 by TRACI

644. Traci: AJ can tell me him/herself to get off his/her back. We have a fine rapport, thus far. I think AJ can handle me saying that that particular research sucks, and that I believe it to be drug-company propaganda. Don't YOU know who funds drug research?? There is no one on God's green earth who will EVER convince me that babies are not born addicted to methadone! It blows me away that someone could buy the "fact" that human adults can be addicted, but that a baby-human might escape it. Give me a break. I find research in REAL LIFE, personal experience and COMMON SENSE to be invaluable -- especially when financially-driven "research" defies them. I'll take my facts without the sugar, please.
