Spare me the crap you wimp! If I have enough money I'll buy fur. It's funny how so many people have been mind-washed to believe crap about animals been skinned alive. Do you really believe it happens that way?

As you may not know, skinning an animal while it's alive invites a lot of trouble because the animal will attack you so typically the animal is killed before the fur is harvested. Or do you think that the animal is skinned alive and left bare? Please get your head out of your ass and don't spew propaganda.

32. uh nimrods it's called P.E.T.A, why would anyone want to wear fur it's disgusting, we wore fur back when there were no syntheic fabrics, you people need to see how these animals are skinned alive for their fur, well one thing is fo so there will be alot of people in hell wishin they would have got rid of the fur coat before their trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!

34. It's appalling to see these "stars" still wearing fur, after they have repeatedly been made aware of the problems associated with the Chinese fur trade and the ethical problems with choosing fur.

According to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), "Millions of dogs and cats [including pets] are slaughtered every year for the [Chinese] fur trade. Where their fur ends up may surprise you." China supplies more than half of the fur garments imported for sale into the United States. Dog and cat fur is deliberately mislabeled as fur from other species so that it can be sold to unsuspecting Americans.

Everyone from Martha Stewart to Paul McCartney has denounced this fur, including some of the largest clothing retailers. J. Crew, Ann Taylor (who has 740 stores in 45 states), Abercrombie and Fitch, Olan Mills, and U.K.'s most highly respected fashion chain Topshop, have all stopped selling fur after seeing the Chinese Fur Trade videos.

This is not an issue that concerns only animal rights advocates. The cruelty is so horrendous that mainstream citizens are climbing onboard this boycott.

Anyone even thinking about wearing fur has an obligation to seek out information about where the fur comes from. They should go to the Humane Society web site or the Fur Is Dead website and view the short videos before they fall for the media advertising urging them to buy fur.

35. Thank you for your post Gayle. Hopefully those in the dark on this issue can learn something from it. You are absolutely right about the Chinese fur trade. I actually saw a video on Dateline, back in 2004. It is something I wish I could erase from my memory but unfortunately I can't. It was in China and they were taking out dogs that were crammed into cages one on top of another. A beagle was dragged out and went towards its killer with it's tail wagging. It kept wagging until after the 2nd or 3rd blow from his club. It was all captured on undercover video as the dog was hit over and over until it was nothing more than a bloody pulp. I couldn't watch anymore, but from that day forward I have tried to get the word out to people who think if you can afford it, its O.K. to buy fur. Fur from China is typically made from dogs or cats. As for fur from different regions, who knows what it is. Anyone who doubts this needs to go to the link you provided and watch what really happens to these animals. Every day more and more people are saying no to fur. I believe eventually there will be no market for it at all. Watch the video people.

39. I don't support PETA one bit. I also do not condone the killing of animals for their fur. It's not about the inability to pay for it. Even if I could I wouldn't because it is extremely disgusting and inhumane. The fact that people are being duped into buying furs that are supposed to be exotic and aren't is extremely funny. If you're that stupid to go out and buy an animal pelt then you deserved to get it up with ass when paying for it.
