With Paris Hilton nowhere in sight, Britney Spears settled for a D-list sidekick last night.

TMZ spotted the pop star-turned-trainwreck at the Roosevelt Hotel last night, and while she finally kept her goodies to herself, she had a posse even more pathetic than her recent late-night peep shows. Among the hangers-on; Hilton BFF Brandon "Greasy Bear" Davis.

We're down for you having fun Brit, but what do you see in a guy whose claim to fame is making the word "firecrotch" synonymous with Lindsay Lohan? Ick.

32. Why do people constantly make excuses for her and pass off the responsibility of her actions onto the other people?

It's always someone else's fault with some of her fans. First it was all Kevin's fault that she looked trashy, then when she was still that way (or worse) without Kevin that was proven wrong so then it was all Paris' fault. Now it's all Brandon's fault, he's using her for publicity. The common denominator in all of this is BRITNEY. SHE makes herself look that way, no one else does. SHE does the things she does, regardless the reason. If by some chance she *is* that easily influenced by the people she hangs out with then that is a huge problem in and of itself.

STOP making excuses for her. The situation she is in is the direct result of her own actions and her own decisions, nothing else. She made her bed and now she has to lie in it.

34. #7 Shut up! First of all, not alot of people are going through a divorce and gearing up for a custody battle (which does NOT look good for her). Second, she hasn't been hanging with this grease ball in the past, (why now)?. Lastly, she has two children at home, she's out every day and night, NOT bonding with her children, it's impossible the way she parties!

42. I cant beleive Britney is acting this way, yes she has a right to party but the way she is going about it is wrong. I mean she is a mom of two kids, and that should be her first priority. I guess all the fame has got to her, Britney wake up and smell the roses, you have two kids ,act like a mom should act like, you dont see other stars with kids act the way that you do.
