39. It appears that Hollywood's young women are damned if they do, damned if they don't. If a 12 year old wants to actually dress like a 12 year old, we should be applauding her! Too many young girls/women are dressing beyond their age - I think she's sweet and refreshing. HOWEVER, give her time, she will be showing her skin at some point, I'm sure! :)

At twelve my daugther was still bordering the I am a princess stage. I read somewhere 10 is the new 14, let this one just be a kid if she wants to.... I for one think it is refreshing

42. You people ought to be ASHAMED of yourselves for making fun of a sweet 12 year old girl. If people were picking on your children how would you feel?

I think that what she is wearing is fine and totally appropriate for the movie. The main character girl (in the book) wore a dress like this on the cover. If she was dressed like so many other 12 year olds running around this country that try to look 18 years of age or older, you would have written that she looked like a whore. Instead you insult her and say that she needs a makeover. Unbelievable.
