And as for BJ, who couldn't get her daughter into an outfit like this, perhaps you should try some parental control. If your daughter is telling you what she will and will not do now, you are in for some rough times when she hits puberty!

TMZ didn't say "hey she should show more skin" they are commenting on the complete and utter ugliness of this outfit!!!
To all those who think this is how a 12 year old should dress and that she looks cute and adorable....please go back to dressing your American Girl collection.

No 12 year old would dress like this on their own, this is her parents doing, they are going to keep dressing her up like a doll.

There are lots of nice age appropriate outfits and party dresses for a young girl that are not clownlish. AND I should know cos I teach grade six, Im sure if I bothered to show the girls in my class this photo they would all agree that this dress is just ugly.

Im sure Dakota is a sweet and lovely girl but her (parents) choice of outfits is horrid.

74. She's a darling 12 year-old girl, dressing for a premier in TOKYO. Come on, everyone dresses a little crazy in Japan - and we love it! Besides, it looks like the kind of princess dress most 12 year-olds would love to wear to a big party.
