Kathy GriffinComedian Kathy Griffin's chartered plane was 20 minutes out of Burbank Airport on Wednesday when the cabin filled with smoke. In a statement on Kathy's official website, rumors of a crash were quashed.

Shortly after takeoff in unusually cold weather for California, the plane encountered extreme turbulance, sparking engine trouble for the funnywoman. The plane was en route to Stockton, CA, where Kathy was set to perform that night.

Fortunately, pilots saved the day by successfully landing the troubled craft back at Burbank. Kathy's show in Stockton has been rescheduled for Dec. 8.

8. A little bit of Kathy goes a long way. I know I cannot sit through more than 1/2 hour of her comedy, but, I will be interested to see how she fits this into her act.

10. i heard the plane went down and they were all killed . As they got to the pearly gates St. Peter stopped them and gave them a choice . He said " either you can enter heaven or return to Earth as if nothing happened " someone asked " Whats' the Catch ? " St. Peter replied " The only entertainment we have in Heaven is the comedy of Kathy Griffin " Needless to say all passengers are safe and sound . Dickhead .

11. I don't know much about Kathy Griffin, having only seen her on some talk show. If one has such animosity for her, they don;t have to watch her show. Where is all the venom coming from? Looks like some people definitely need something constructive to do. Start with getting a life.
