50. Some of the arguments on this post are too funny for words...

First, not all Black people use the n-word in their normal verbiage. A very small percentage uses the term freely so stop stereotyping all Black folk for the entertainers people see on television (Just like George Bush, former senator George Allen, & O'Reilly on FoxNews does not represent all of white America, Jesse Jackson, Condelezza Rice, Chris Rock, rappers, Oprah, and that "one black friend" some individuals like to ALWAYS use does not represent all of Black America

Secondly, hate speech is not protected in the 1st amendment, so there goes that redundant free speech agrument

Thirdly, a lot of people continue to make the famous double standard argument. Please get over yourselves. There are white, black, latino, etc. comedians who use racial humor...the word to focus on is "humor"...what Michael Richards did was not humorous it was a racial attack. 51. I am tired of hearing people complain about this. First of all I know for a fact those hecklers most likely called each other the N word. This is not the first time a heckler has been attacked by the performer on stage. Oh but its ok for a black performer to call a heckler this. Also stop bit*hing about your oppression.
