Lets Get This Party Started
Brit's Gift: Paris' Big F**K You to Billboard

Apparently, Paris Hilton has some sort of standards: she won't belittle her friends on Monday night's Billboard Music Awards. The heiress is following in the footsteps of new BFF Britney and has pulled the plug on hosting the show.

Paris Hilton
"It is my understanding that some satirical references ridiculed some of her peers," Hilton's spokesman, Elliot Mintz, says in the New York Post. "Paris did not want to say anything that could appear hurtful or embarrassing about people she knows."

Perhaps she's turning over a new leaf? Or maybe it was just her birthday gift to Brit, who turned 25 yesterday. The two were spotted partying at the Laugh Factory. With panties, we hope.

Taylor Hicks Trashes "Idol"

"American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks needs to learn to watch his mouth. Hicks recently slipped and said the reality show was "fizzling out" and pooh-poohed being crowned last year's winner. Now he's doing some damage control before the new season starts, and before Simon Cowell blacklists him forever. E! Online reports that the grey-haired crooner has apologized, saying, "Those words were taken completely out of context. I'm very thankful to have had the opportunity to be on 'American Idol.'"

Madonna to Malawian Judge: Bring It On

There seems to be more baby blues on the horizon for Madonna, according to IMDB. A Malawian judge declared that Madge's adoption of baby David could be challenged by a coalition of human rights groups. But the superstar's lawyer says she has "no problem" with the ruling and will just "sit back and wait" to see who wins the fight.

Party Favors: Britney's First Ex Writes Tell-All Book ... Mel Gibson Set to Release "The Most Violent Movie" Ever ... Bloomberg Doesn't Like Tracy Morgan's Antics

Looks like K-Fed's not the only ex looking to make a buck. Britney Spears' first hubby, Jason Alexander, is writing a tell-all book about his time – all 55 hours of it -- with the pop princess ... FOX News is calling Mel Gibson's new movie, "Apocalypto," the "most violent movie Disney has ever released. If you've wondered what it would be like to see heads and hearts removed without anesthesia, then this is the movie for you" ... New York's Mayor Bloomberg didn't want to share the stage at the Rockefeller Center Christmas-tree lighting with "30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan, who has been arrested twice for allegedly driving drunk.

31. Paris doesn't want to say anthing negative about her peers? Didn't Tina Fey just tell us a couple of weeks ago that Paris was dying to trash her peers on SNL?

32. Taylor has said a hundred times how much he appreciates the AI opportunity. But HE won it. His talent made the show great. He doesn't have to be ETERNALLY grateful and who are you to tell him to watch his mouth. Pick on someone who deserves it.

33. Taylor Hicks is a postive energy in a controversial Industry.
He has never in the least seemed ungrateful to Idol or to anyone.
The media is a pool of barraccuda's, they see something good, and they have to tear it apart with their half truths.
He wasn't trying to make nice, he was trying to fix a screw up by the media period !!
Give us a break, those of us that live in the real world, know that stories are sensationalized to sell copies!
Well don't take the Leader of the "Soul Patrol" out of context.
Because that only serves to prove the media's true colors.
The "Soul Patrol" LOVES and stands behind "Taylor" 110%.
He is a multi talented performer, and a humanitarian.
Love Ya "Tay"

34. You might need to watch your mouth. BTW, also you need to go back and take reading comprehension, for you definitely could not understand the Relix article or were you reading your sister rag the NY Post?

35. What a shame that your "journalists" don't take the trouble to read the articles they use as the basis for their snarky articles about a decent person like Taylor Hicks. Taylor has consistantly spoken with gratitude about the opportunity he was given by AI to finally achieve his dreams.

You should be ashamed about the reporting in your article -- you and the rest of the tabloid press -- owe Taylor Hicks an apology for the bad reporting you fostered on the public. The Relix article was very clear in laying out what Taylor said -- each year AI runs the show; the process is an arduous cattle call; it takes luck and endurance to make it to the final cut and the term of an idol lasts only a year. That year is almost over and Taylor is realistic enough to know that once the process starts over again in January, he needs to be working on the next step in his career -- the non-American Idol part of his career.

Taylor is already working on this move from American Idol to working musician. Give him credit for being what he is -- a generous, decent, hard working musician and stop with the slander.

36. #10, #12, #14:

I READ the original Taylor Hicks article(http://www.relix.com/content/view/1856/112/) and I have to say, you guys are blinded because you're obviously fans of his and you don't want to hear anything negtative about him. I don't know much about Taylor Hicks one way or another, but personally, I think he sounds like an arrogant ungrateful prick.

38. Paris is seriously fugly! Her actions are as vapid and phony as her colored contacts, hair extensions, fake eye lashes and all the other goo that she globs on herself each day. She really "thinks" she's something special. She has zero awareness of how many people look at that carrot with the bulb/hook for a nose and just say, "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!" She looks like some kind of bird. She always has that slack jaw expression to go along with the squinty, too close together eyes. Oh yes, that droopy eye is particularly unattractive.

She has no talent and no shape. She can't act or dance. Like D L Hugley says, "What does Paris Hilton do?"

I'll answer that. She hangs around at bars like the bar fly she has turned into.
