Garrison May Have Been Drunk At Time of Crash

Lane GarrisonTMZ now has exclusive details of the "Prison Break" star's car crash Saturday night that killed a 17-year-old boy.

According to the Beverly Hills Police, actor Lane Garrison displayed "symptoms of alcohol intoxication." We're told alcohol containers were removed from Garrison's 2001 Land Rover.

We're also told Garrison struck a center median and lost control of his SUV in Beverly Hills and ended up hitting a tree.

Two 15-year-old girls were also injured. One has been released. One is in serious condition at Cedars Sinai Hospital.

Cops say they are investigating "Mr. Garrison's impairment."

19. Never mind the "minors in the car" issue. This guy was apparently drunk or at least impaired. (We seem to get the story bit by bit) And according to the previous story post, he wasn't arrested OR booked! And someone died in this accident!
Why wasn't he arrested? Why wasn't he tested for alcohol on scene? Why wasn't he cited? If there is a more BLATANT case of celebrity favoritism than this, I want to know about it!

It's also been reported in an understated manner by the news media. So far.

"So-and-so was involved in a car crash last night. One person was killed.
In other news, PARIS HILTON...".

Don't let anyone tell you it doesn't pay to be a celebrity!

21. Okay everybody pay attention...
Even minor celebrities can afford a good attorney. This drunken fool won't go to jail and it's too bad for the poor dead kid.

25. Well, since he was not arrested at the scene, nor later, seems the negligent police failed to obtain a breath alcohol test, which make it impossible to prosecute a DUI, such a shame. The only hope is for the others in the vehicle to testify to the facts. Unfortunatly, he might only be charged with endangerment, or negligent homicide. Lets hope the survivors stand up for the deceased. My condolences to the family and friends.

27. lol @ all the e-lawyers up in here. The teens willingly got into a car with a drunk. I hope that's brought up while the police are eating their donuts.

28. I hope that this loser gets the same punishment as noncelebrities do. Fat jail time, big fines and shunned by society. I hope he gets what he deserves!

29. And a 17 year old is not a child. Anyone who thinks these moronic teens are entirely innocent are dumber than they are.

I hope they put him in jail until the 17 kid come back to life. Yes I know that's means never! So sad for this kid's family. I just can't believe people are so stupid.
