Lane Garrison Driver in Fatal Crash

Lane GarrisonLaw enforcement sources from the Beverly Hills Police Department tell TMZ "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison was behind the wheel when his SUV crashed into a tree, killing one of the occupants.

The accident occurred Saturday night in Beverly Hills. Sources say one of the passengers, a 15-year-old girl, was in critical condition and has a relative who works for the city of Beverly Hills. One source says the 17-year-old boy who was killed went to the local high school which is presumably Beverly Hills High.

We're told Garrison was not arrested or booked after the accident. Typically, after a "K" car crash injury -- police jargon when someone is killed -- cops will ask the driver to submit to a voluntary blood-alcohol test.

16. What the F*CK does that mean "Garrison was not booked or arrested after the accident"??!! Would someone please clarify why celebrities can get away with such atrocities? If it were any other "average" person "behind the wheel" and "driving under the influence" and crashed their vehicle and killed someone, you can bet your ass that person would be sitting in jail, talking to a defence lawyer!!

18. This guy better NOT get away with MURDER!! I am sick of HOLLYWOOD stars, getting away with everything. This one really hits home because I knew this kid. such a nice kid really.Lane Garrison was DRUNK, had teens in his car, and killed someone..end of story. Police should not think twice, and take this looser Lane Garrison to prison for LIFE.

19. "8. Did you ever stop and think maybe they are related to him or related to relatives of his???"

If he IS related in some way, what difference could that ever POSSIBLEY make to excuse this?!? Seems to me, if he had even the sense of a piece of corn, he'd have beeen even MORE concerned for their saftey.

Face it folks. This pretty boy (and when a 26 year old is drinking and carousing with this particular age group, he IS still a boy) deserves to have the book thrown at him. It'll never bring back that poor kid, but Little Laney will never ever forget what he did. He shouldn't be ALLOWED to forget.

I truely look forward to the day when that perty lil' face of his makes him new, big, hairy, knuckle-dragging friends in a REAL prison.

21. Yes, it's a tragedy but who pressed teens to get into car in the middle of night and who asked Lane Garrison to buy more booze.

22. Nobody understands the tradegy that just happend. Everyone is just wondering about why the hell a man of his age would be hanging out with a kid my age.
I go to Beverly Hills High and i'd have to say, if Lane were to see how many people were standing outside at lunch for his memorial, he would be crushed. The boy meant more to us than anything.

23. My name is Jason and I go to Beverly Hills High School, the school where the teenager who died went to. The whole school is in mourning and I came across this webpage and thought I'd let everyone know what ACTUALLY happened. At school, he was known as "V" so I'll call him that.

On Saturday night (12/2), V was at a house party in Beverly Hills with a bunch of other teenagers. Somehow, Lane Garrison was there. Everyone was drunk and partying, including Lane.

The alcohol ran out, so V, Lane, and the two other girls, who all just met each other that night, went to Pavilions on the corner of Olympic and Beverly Dr. in Beverly Hills to buy some more alcohol. They were in LANE GARRISON'S LAND ROVER, AND LANE WAS DRIVING. Everyone was wearing a seat belt except for V.

Seeing as how drunk the four of them were, Pavilions wouldn't sell them the alcohol. They then went down the street about a half mile to Ralph's on Pico Blvd, where they acquired the alcohol.

As they drove back, Lane was doing about 60 on Beverwil Dr. when he hit a curb, lost control, and hit another curb, flipping the car over in front of Island's on the 300 block of South Beverly Drive.

You guys know the rest of the story. I recommend using Google maps if you're really curious. The address of Islands is 350 S Beverly Dr Beverly Hills, CA 90212.

24. NOOOOO excuse to be partying with kids. Lane just "happened" to be at this party. Sounds like he wanted to get some under age stuff! He was drunk, killed a kid, he needs to pay the same price as we would! They need to press charges, aside from DUI, Manslaughter needs to be added. I also live in So Calif, and it hasn't gotten much publicity! I bet the real stars are running to
hire his publicist!

25. I am a friend of the boy that was killed. He was a Senior at Beverly Hills High School, and I'm still in shock about all of this. From what I know, there was beer involved, and this actor scum should be in prision for the rest of his natural born life.

26. Pardon the apathy, but if "the boy meant more to us than anything" wouldn't he still be alive? Of course, it's no surprise that a TV show star gets quickly and quietly shuffled out of the limelight. And while it's par for the course to peg all the blame on said star, where were the kid's parents that night? Granted, parents are the last people high school kids are going to party with on a Saturday night, but come on. I've seen more than one pair of parents intentionally turn the Blind Eye to their kids while they skid along a downward spiral coated with booze and drugs. Really, where do most of the kids get the money to buy their goods? It's hard to imagine anyone attending Beverly Hills High pushing a lawn mower on weekends.

"Mommy, Daddy? Can I have some money to go out tonight?"
"Sure thing, Kiddo. Now don't go spending this on drugs, booze, or hookers!"
"What's a hooker?"
"Good answer, kid."

What else is there to do in one of the richest neighborhoods in the world besides doing expensive drugs and drinking expensive liquor, anyway?

And did anyone see that homeless woman who's old enough to be the mother of these kids wandering along Beverly Drive? Did anyone want to?

27. Lets not forget that the complete story has not yet been released...all of these stories are just that. Wouldn't you want everyone to have a complete understanding of the nights events before passing judgment if you were in his shoes? I personally do not know all of what happend but I do know that if he had been drunk the police would have more than likely arrested him after he was let out of the hospital. I'm not saying that anything that night was right or wrong, all I'm saying is why don't we wait for all the facts to come out before we label this young man guilty...

29. All you ignorats morons should STFU. None of you (who talk crap about the guy that got killed) know him or his family personally. Just because your loser parents and loser you could not make it in this world, doesn't mean no one else shouldn't.

30. This guy should be locked up forever. This is a typical case of some stupid actor who came to LA and tried to act like a big hot shot. That's what wrong with this town.
