Lane Garrison Driver in Fatal Crash

Law enforcement sources from the Beverly Hills Police Department tell TMZ "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison was behind the wheel when his SUV crashed into a tree, killing one of the occupants.

The accident occurred Saturday night in Beverly Hills. Sources say one of the passengers, a 15-year-old girl, was in critical condition and has a relative who works for the city of Beverly Hills. One source says the 17-year-old boy who was killed went to the local high school which is presumably Beverly Hills High.

We're told Garrison was not arrested or booked after the accident. Typically, after a "K" car crash injury -- police jargon when someone is killed -- cops will ask the driver to submit to a voluntary blood-alcohol test.

46. wow.....i feel bad for this kid and his family and all and i agree it is a little wierd that a TV actor gets special treatment......and i'm a huge Prison Break fan so i'm crushed about this whole thing....I liked this guy.....and people have been asking why these kids were with him in the car.....i see several reasons.
1. They COULD have been relatives....which means they were going with him not being victims of rape or something
2. Have any of you people ever been with a TV actor? I'm sure there's a lot of hype and pressure by other people to hang out with him. I would want to.
3. Maybe these kids were the ones who wanted him to go get alcohol
Whatever the reason, I feel terrible for the family's lost and from what i've read, this boy was quite the kid and it's a shame
I'm not saying I support what Lane did at all.....because he shouldn't have driven drunk....yet, there may have been some pressure from the others kids like "hey lane, you're 26...go buy us some more booze" and he prolly didnt want to be seen as weak or something, so he did it
He shouldn't have, but he did. It is devastating what happened and I feel terrible for the entire Beverly Hills area.

47. Lane deserves atleast a minimum of life in prison for the horrible act he committed. He is soley to blame b/c he was the adult in the situation and should have known better than to drink and drive ESPECIALLY since he had 3 minors in the car with him. I recently just spent about 2 hours relighting candles around the tree that lane drove into killing an innocent teen boy that happens to go to my local highschool in beverly hills. This man is the definition of pathetic and should never ever be allowed to drive, I wish Lane nothing but the worst and hope his life rotts with the same sadness that many in beverly hills now have to live with thanks to his stupidity and ruthlessness.

48. y are some of u callin him a pedo?? u know people are allowed to have friends who are younger than them!! its not entirely his fault either, they got into the car knowing he'd had a drink.
