Beyonce Knowles set out to clear up rumors of jealousy over the attention her "Dreamgirls" co-star Jennifer Hudson has been receiving. Her plan may have backfired.
Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer HudsonDuring a recent interview, a humble Beyoncé said she "knew that the character that I played wasn't the star ... I'm already a star. I already have nine Grammys. Everyone knows I can sing."

Beyoncé definitely belts out some beautiful melodies, but when she said, "I wish I could have gained 20 pounds and played Effie," we hear the flip side of her tune. Although most of Beyoncé's comments seemed a little backhanded, she did go on to give props to Hudson by saying, "She did incredible."

This interview, meant to defuse the rumored feud, could rekindle the diva dis.

17. she's so used to being the lead in DC and getting all the attention and calling all the shots that she can't stand it to have someone else shine. I used to like her but I was completely turned off by her new album. Song after song it's all about how great she is and any man that comes within 100 feet of her should kiss the ground around her and she stomps over them.

20. Beyonce is a product of her upbringing: raised by a couple of egocentric parents who kissed her ass her whole life telling her she was a star. Beyonce has shown her lack of empathy MANY times in public by wearing fur (anyone with a heart would never support the cruel killing of defenseless animals just to have a damn coat). She made this movie thinking it would land her an Oscar and now she is beside herself that someone "less known" is getting all the buzz. If you saw the "Dreamgirls" cast on the Oprah show, you could see Beyonce grinding her teeth as Oprah praised Jennifer Hudson over & over! She is a selfish, self centered showbiz brat unaccostomed to sharing any spotlight (the poor girls in Destinys Child know this!). Her a**hole of a dad is surely somewhat responsible for the way she turned out. Ugh. I hate her.

29. Jennifer said herself during an interview on EXTRA that she had to gain 20lbs for her role. Beyonce is simply saying she wishes she could have eaten what she wanted and done that too. She isn't trying to put anyone down and on her website the entire interview is posted which is full of praise for jennifer. the media is always trying to cause drama between strong black females. just like they did w/ Tyra and Naomi.
